I watched A Touch of Zen. It was neat. Really nice direction, especially the camera techniques when the monks are shown. They make a really strong presence. The main heroine's cool too. She isn't like your average heroine from the 60's. I found it nice she was able to have some romance in the storyline without becoming sexualized as well. The plot was also stellar, especially for a kung fu film. It was always evolving. The bad things were that it's over 3 hours, but I didn't really mind the pacing. The ending was a tad too open for me as well. I didn't really find the plot resolved by it, but I guess that's because of heh open ending. |

Astro Boy. I couldn't really get into it because the way they dealt with Tobio's death seemed too abrupt. |
| If you're going to make a poor argument, at least make it a good, well-grounded poor argument. | |

Labyrinth. It's the best movie whenever Bowie shows up. It's otherwise an ok movie. |

Masters of the Universe because Peklo and hero hyped it a lot and it was really great. Moonwalker before that. Also great. |
