I am having the worst time trying to figure this one out. I created a site for a hair salon and every time each page loads for the first time, it jumps from right to left. Does anyone know why it is doing this? There is an example link below. I've tried reducing the amount of tables, removing the Rollover JS and replacing with CSS and making tables exact width instead of 100% but no luck. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. http://www.studiodbypaolosalon.com |

It works fine for me Perhaps it only happens in a certain browser or it might even be a resolution problem.I am using firefox and got a resolution of 1280x1024px. |

I agree with Samael, I don't have any problem. When a page loads it loads line by line so your page is following one line then it shifts when another line tells it too move. The shifting can also be caused when your browser/page are adjusting to the resolution or setup of the computer. For example I have a vertical start bar along the left side of my computer screen and it frequently causes more "shifting" among webpages as well as other applications. I also notice similar "shifting" on big name websites like youtube.com and digg.com so unless this is causing a real problem trying to fix it is does not seem necessary. This is more of a fault to the browser and loading speed than it is to your coding. btw, that site looks very nice |

I didn't see any problem either (Firefox 3.5 1280x800 screen resolution) |

I would like to thank all of you for your responses. You've given me a big sigh of relief especially you, Alex. I agree the music is somewhat annoying. I have explained this to my client as well. Unfortunately, it is what he wants. =( Thanks again and everyone take care!! -Eric |
