To continue the conversation on awesome Bible verses. Philippians is awesome. I need to read it again today. I was just looking for a 'God is life' sort of verse, meaning he doesn't support abortion. And I accidentally found this.

The Spirit of God has made me,
and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.

Job 33:4

So much goodness. It's crazy.

Hey. That's awesome.

I just love it when I "accidentally" find epic bible verses. :)

I do that a lot. It's actually how God speaks to me. I randomly flip through until a verse stands out to me and it has something to do with what I needed at that point.

There's this thing I have about reading the Bible. I often don't find anything in it unless I'm looking for something. That's how I find a lot of great verses, too.

Thinking about myself, I see what you mean. I think it's about the same for me.

Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always.
Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles,
and the judgments he pronounced.
1 Chronicles 16:11-12

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you;
and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria,
and to the ends of the earth."
Acts 1:8

....So go on now and be awesome.

Jeremy preached on John 15 today. You know. The whole "The Vine and the Branches" part.
Abide.
John 15: 1-17:
The word "abide", or "remain" is written eleven times. Eleven. Times. That cray-cray.

It means..

1. To remain; continue; stay
2. To continue in a particular condition, attitude, relationship, etc.
4. To wait for; await.
5.To accept without opposition or question.
6.To pay the price or penalty of; suffer for.
