Part 1: Signatures

Many people are somewhat (or utterly) confused when it comes to using forums —especially these ones, because the layout is a little more complicated. In these brief tutorials, I will help you to get by all that stuff easily.

What's a signature?

First I will tell you how to add a signature—this is fairly simple. A signature is basically a sort of text block that shows up in all of your forum posts. You can add pictures to signatures instead of text, or to go along with it. Everyone can see your signature, so make it cool. Around these forums, you will also here many slang terms like "sig" and "siggy."

Adding a signature

At the very top of the screen (above the banner) there is a button titled "Preferences." Drag your mouse over this button.

When you drag your mouse over that button, it will open a short drop-down menu. Choose "Add Signature" from the menu.

When you click this, it will bring you to the signatures part of your account options. There will be a text box there. You can manipulate this type box any way you want, by adding text, animations, banners, and a lot more.
