Jubilation Court Roles and Responsibilities Like any good organization there needs to be clearly defined roles and responsibilities. Here a list of current Roles and their responsibilities within Jubilation Court. Major Roles Major Roles are generally led by one person with full authority to make decisions within the role; exact change in regards to the role and perform the duties described therein. Generally, these roles will be held by a Viceroy often because they require password authority to critical site management systems. The table below will list current Primary and Secondary (the backup for when the Primary may be unavailable) person responsible for these roles. Please note that these functions of these roles Do Not Require Votes. The member accepting of these responsibilities is EMPOWERED to perform their role without supervision or permission. They are also ultimately responsible for actions and will be handled accordingly by the JCM for any issues. Minister of Runehead: - Maintains, updates, manages the Court listing on Runehead. This is important as it is our front facing connection to people outside the Court, and it gives the link for previewers to find our boards, and potentially join. If a member notices that Runehead isn’t updating stats, this is the person to contact to “push” an update. Minister of the Boards: - Maintains, updates and manages the Zetaboard themes, layouts, presentation and communication channels. Obviously this is vital as this is how our Court, meets, communicates, shares and interacts with other Court members outside the actual RS application. Additionally, it’s this person’s job to help maintain a consistent look and feel on the boards which may include editing a “Forum and Community Update” post for coloring, grammar, positioning etc – again to maintain a Jubilation Court “Brand” in regards to consistency. Changes in graphics, themes, colors etc are coordinated through this person. As are suggestions for board changed in regards to layout. Minister of Events: - Plans, Schedules, and performs inter and intra Court activities. This person is one of the real keys to demonstrating Court spirit and is the cohesive bond that fills a mini map with green dots. This person really needs to know how to use the Calendar feature within Zetaboards and should be a great communicator/ facilitator especially when it comes to inter Court events. This is a huge role as this person also assists in ensuring we are an “active” Court. The owner of this role will maintain several systems to track events and to coordinate activity both with members inside and outside of Jubilation Court. Minister of Personnel: - Performs activity checks, Audits activity participation and coordinates with the other Ministers regarding the participation of members within the Court. They manage the Member list, and are responsible for sending welcome messages to Phoenix Risers that achieve full membership as a Phoenix and the regrettable farewell message for members that lose membership due to any Disciplinary decisions made by the JCM. Essentially this Minister is the hub that the other Ministers coordinate through. Secondary Roles These are roles that we all can take part in and that often require group leadership/ councilor acceptance in decision-making. Recruiting Agent: Obviously we need to grow a good crew of Courtesans. This can be done during Skill contests and min-games for example or from within our own friends lists. Of course this does not change the ability for any member to nominate new members; this is an "extra duty" to actively seek new membership. Jubilation Court Management Problems arise and they should be managed and mitigated expeditiously. This is the JCM (Jubilation Court Management). The JCM is the final resting place of Drama, incidents and issues. The team will remain “semi-anonymous” to discourage blame regarding any particular incident. The goal of the JCM is swift, consistent Problem Management. Please see the separate post on the JCM to see how this process works and to learn how incident is managed within JC. Reeves (Board Moderators) keeping the boards, neat, civilized and active. Upon this, Board Moderators will be encouraged to “spark” activity within their particular boards. Posts deemed inappropriate should be reported to the specific Board Moderators as listed in the specific Boards. Additionally, Board Moderators will be responsible for pinning, closing and moving posts to appropriate forums as necessary. Rewards and Recognitions Management : This person identifies, notifies and manages rewards and recognition. This could include "Member of the Month", Member interviews (getting to know a Court mate), Undersig Rewards management, Temporary - Permanent Member titles, Participation Awards. Please refer to the separate board on Rewards and Recognition for how this system work and how both Court members and non Court members can participate in our R&R program. Continual Improvement Officers: This is a centralized body for receiving, evaluating, and implementing Improvements within the board or Court. This office will coordinate with the other Ministers regarding the implementation of improvements. Admissions Agent: This group is probably made up of members of both leadership and of council. The primary function is to approve/ disapprove of new members. Members that have met the basic requirements of participation will be approved for full member status by the Admissions Board. Additionally status of Guest and or Ambassador is designated by the Admissions Board. Court Mentor: this person(s) will be "assigned" to new members, to show them around the boards, or RS in relation to events etc. These persons will act as a liaison for "new members" to interact with Court leadership and other Court members that are unfamiliar to them. Court Elders are former members of Leadership and have a separate designation in color in Runehead/ Board and have additional authorities therein. Mentors will change from time to time based on various criteria. Minister of Chat: Obviously we need a good active Court chat and as such we need people to moderate the chats. Currently all Leaders and Council persons are designated ads Court Chat Moderators but highly active Court Chat participants may be asked to perform this role based on both their activity level and acuity at good chat moderation (They won't get a silver crown but probably a silver star). Our Court chat is Current “JC CHAT”. *Note* regarding chat, I don’t see our chat channel as exclusive to Court, and this could be a nice recruiting tool for members to show their friends a taste of JC. With the knowledge that all users of Court Chat are subject to the basic rules of Chat as described by Jagex. Listed below are the Current Role Holders (subject to change as the Court grows and develops)
Jubilation Court Member Statuses There are several status a Member can have within Jubilation Court and these are listed. Starting with the status possessing the fewest privileges up to the one with the most privilege.
