Our Policies Dear Reader, Welcome to the Jubilation Court, here you will find the policies put in place to protect you, ourselves and ensure compliance with our Host (Zetaboards) terms of service. 1. Please keep the language PG-13 friendly on boards. 2. Event Planning/Hosting - Everyone is entitled and encouraged to suggest or schedule events. Event management is ultimately the responsibility of the Minister of Events, but any Member from Yeoman through Viceroy can post an event on the calendar. 3. Posting on Boards - Everyone can post on our boards to their own content and in a manner appropriate with the site. We do not advance "ranks" by post count. Inappropriate posts will be removed the incident will be forwarded to the JCM for resolution if needed. 4. Personal Messages - Your PM's (personal messages using the board private mail system) are private unless reported. The PM system on these boards allows direct reporting of PM's. 5. Account protection - If there is an indication that your account on these boards is compromised, your access will be revoked until you can prove that you are in control of your account. All rights will be restored once the situation is fully resolved. 6. Event participation - In the interest of keeping this Court "active" we require each member (not on a known absence) to attend at least one event per month. The goal is to have 20+ events scheduled per month so to ask each member to apply 30-60 minutes (minimum) per month to the Court isn't really asking that much. Attendance at events will be tracked by an Event Manager. Failure to meet the one event per month Attendance will result in the member being placed on an "Event Requirement Probation" which just means they will need to either indicate an absence or just attend 2 events in the Probationary month. Failure to attend and meet these Attendance requirements during the probationary period will result in a member losing Full Member Status in the member list and removal from Runehead. In lieu of the one event participation a member may also maintain full membership by making at between 3 - 5 board posts (beyond 5 words each) per month to remain "active". 7. Court Membership - "New members" must meet the Sponsorship Guidelines which indicate that they need to attend two approved Court events to be moved to full member status. Upon which, they are bound by the current Court rules (One event per month requirement etc.) 10. Lenders Beware - Never loan anything you would not be prepared to lose. Jagex will not get it back thus nobody else can do anything about it. If you are scammed by a member here you must provide evidence. A verbal accusation is not evidence. - With new Jagex methods for item lending we suspect this issue will not occur often, but when in question please forward the incident information the JCM. 11. Jagex Rules - As stated earlier, this Court will abide by Jagex rules. We are not Jagex and cannot punish people in game, but if you do break the rules and boast about it here don't expect to remain here. Also, this Court has a number of player mods. We hope to avoid having a member/pmod put in an awkward position by a Court member who breaks the rules. However, we cannot mandate that Court pmods not enforce Jagex rules against a member of our Court. 12. Dating, etc. - The Court does not exist for finding another person to "date." We are not a dating service. Should 2 individuals be in a relationship break up and it impacts upon the Court both people will be asked to take a break for an agreed period of time. 13. RS Clients - For the maximum security of player accounts, we encourage RS play through standard internet browsers or the Jagex client, which can be downloaded from their site. We do not sanction the use of other game clients, and we do not advertise or discuss them in this Court. 14. Leaving the Court - You may leave the Court at any time by sending a Private Message on the boards to any Viceroy or Chamberlain. At which time the Minister of Personnel will remove the member from the member list (Ambassador or Emissary Status may be requested at this point), and their name will be removed from Runehead. 15. Rejoining the Court - Any member that is removed either due to failure to meet requirements, non-acceptance of initial sponsorship, or by voluntary request for removal are entitled to rejoin the Court (with preference over those on a waiting list) at any time. This, of course, would require them to meet the Sponsorship guideline of attending two approved Court events, then continued activity requirements. 16. Rules regarding Signatures: - Must be PG-13 ~ Let's keep them appropriate please. - Horizontal Aspect ~ Wider then they are tall. - 800 x 200 Max dimension ~ 400 x 120 is preferred. - Under 800kb in file size ~ This allows for animation. *Note* Hopefully none of the following should ever be needed but worth a skim so you can see where we stand. Things that will result in Ratings Loss: There is a rating indicator by each member name that can be adjusted for minor offenses. A rating of -3 will result in being banned. These include: 1. Begging in game or on boards (-1 per incident) - While some Court members may choose to give stuff away or sell items at a discount, "begging" for either, on boards or in game, is inappropriate. 2. Swearing in forums (-1 per incident) - No filter evasion please. 3. Swearing frenzy - multiple swearing or posts in a short time - Account suspension and possible ban from Court. 4. Attempts to bypass Civil law (- 1 first offence, ban second) - Some people may not understand that copyright breach is an offence or what that is - they get 1 warning). 5. Flaming other Courts/ Clans/ Members (-1 first offence, temporary suspension if required). We don't need these forums used to flame others. 6. Personal Abuse of other members - ratings loss up to ban depending upon severity. May include excessive PMs, stalking, spreading rumors, and other things we hope not to happen. Don't risk it. Things that will result in immediate and permanent bans: 1. Major Jagex rule violations - scamming, hacking, macro writing or using, encouraging others to break rules, luring, real world item trading, and account sharing (sharing your own account, giving or receiving an account). 2. Bragging about breaking rules, including minor ones. 3. Racism, sexual harassment, trust scamming. 4. Breach of any criminal/civil laws in the UK or US - includes threats to real life persons, copyright violations, advertising cracked code or pirated software sites, and a myriad of other things that hopefully we don't need to specify. 5. Posting of obscene or pornographic materials. 6. Flaming Court members on the boards or in game. With Regards Jubilation Court Leadership |
