Rules for Sponsorship

Jubilation Court Leadership would like to limit our Court membership at 100 – 150 members (Yeoman - Lords/ Ladies).

Any Court Member can invite another person to join the Court. You do not have to ask permission from a leadership to ask someone to join.

Following are the requirements to sponsor someone to the Court.

1. Requirements - The sponsor should first accompany their guest (emissary) to two Court events within a two month period, prior to formally sponsoring them. If a person is not willing to attend a couple events prior to joining, it is unlikely that they would afterwards.

It has been found that people who participate in Court activities prior to joining get a much better sense of who we are and what we're about. Some people are very uncertain about what Courts (clans) are, and this helps clear some of the mystery.

What is a Court event?

These are recognizable in that they are something "the Court is doing." They are pre-planned events on our calendar, but not everything on the calendar qualifies. Gold mining, Pest Control, skill contests, Meet and Greets, etc. are things that everyone does at an event - they qualify.

Parties and other Celebrations do not fall into this category. These are not something "the Court is doing" - the Court is attending, not doing.

2. Sponsoring - After they have attended two Court events, please direct them to our site (for example by having them follow our link from Runehead) and let them register. Giving website info in game is reportable to Jagex, so... if you think the person might report you, you probably should not invite them into the Court. By sponsoring, you indicate that to your knowledge, your candidate is someone who will abide by Court rules and has a high likelihood of participating in the Court.

3. Limits - When we reach 125 members (near our cap of 150) members can only sponsor one person each two months. This is not to penalize anyone, but it is necessary to allow other members a chance to sponsor their friends as well - and not have to wait an eternity on our waiting list.

4. Notification - When added to the Court, the person will receive an email providing basic Court information, including instructions to post a "hello." – This is a function of our Minister of Personnel.

5. Waiting list - If membership is full at the time someone is sponsored, they will be placed on the waiting list, which is visible to all members. Send a PM to the Minister of Personnel with the person's name and two events attended, and they will update the list accordingly.

6. New Member status - Someone who is a Yeoman cannot sponsor another until they are themselves made Full Member - Apprentice+. New Members will be voted upon after meeting the requirements by the Admissions Agency. The main requirement is visible participation in the Court and boards. This is the only limitation on New Member status. If someone is not voted into the Court, the can be re-sponsored at a later time, but their account here will be removed until that time.
