Haha, the gold markets in Bali, you pay by the ounce and haggle. The stuff I got is only small, but the gold is a beautiful colour. The stones in those are fake. I paid for real stones in the Bangkok stuff, but still becoz it was Bangkok, I got a good deal. They didnt even know that the pendant they had was a magen david, pure chance and I couldnt pass it up. I get lots of comments from strangers who turn out to be Jewish or Israeli! Whats the point of travelling if oyu cant have some pretty keepsakes, right? |
