What do you wear? Do you only wear real or is costume fun for you too? What are your wish/want pieces? Favorite gemstone/pearl? |

I typically wear my engagement/wedding band (they've been molted together) My watch Two necklaces (my favorite magen david, and my grandma's necklace.. two separate chains... looks weird, but whatever) I do wear costume, not every day, but I have some fun pieces from Lia Sophia, that I just adore wearing... like a BIG cocktail ring that dh hates :) I love all gemstones... pearls are a favorite, but I don't have one particular one that I must own. I love tennis bracelets.. but hate bracelets... I would wear one if I got one though. I'm a small person and big, chunky jewelry looks awful on me, but I don't really care for the delicate stuff that works on me. Such problems! (and I don't like the attention I get when I wear gaudy jewelry, but I love it bc I love it.. not bc of what others think) |

At home I don't wear any jewelry except for a watch. Which considering how fast I break them, I get them for $10-$20 at Target. My engagement watch is saved for special occasions, although the batteries have died and I've yet to replace them. I don't wear my rings at home b/c I accidentally scratched dd's leg while diapering her when she was a baby. Also, I'm constantly washing my hands, which isn't great for jewelry. When I go out, I wear my engagement ring, marriage band, watch and sometimes earrings and a necklace, depending where I'm going. Sometimes, I'll wear a bracelet. I wear both costume and real. I have a few real pieces which I've gotten for birthday/anniversary presents. I have a nice "diamond" necklace which looks real and I've gotten compliments on it. I like all gemstones. (I'm very easy to please. ;) ) I don't know if there is something specific I want. I did want a solitary diamond necklace and dh got it for me about 6 years ago. He's good about jewelry. Even with money being really tight, he keeps asking if I want something for my birthday/anniversary. |

I guess swarovski crystal stuff would be considered costume, no? Their stuff is high on my list of things I enjoy wearing. Of course, diamonds would be lovely, but seriously? We have way more things to spend money on. The things that really make me wish we had more money are the artistic pieces you find at some of the higher-end specialty jewelers - particularly anything with amethysts always catches my eye. |

I always wear my diamond engagement ring and eternity diamond wedding band. For our anniversary last week my husband gave me a diamond heart pendant that is now my daily necklace, before it was a necklace that has these cute charms on it, he got a big heart that has our date of marriage, and two discs that have our intitals stamped on it and the other disc says and love stamped on it, then there is a ruby cut in the shape of a heart dangling between all of them I also like to wear my ring on my right middle finger that he got me in mexico on our honeymoon, and hear shaped earrings he got me on our honeymoon as well. are you sensing a theme??? |

lol... I have them too but my mom had to buy them bc dh didn't... I bought myself a baby bootie charm with dd's birthstone and I wanted one for ds too, but even though I hinted.. no.. spelled it out.. I never got it as a gift. I don't wear it so I don't want it now, but that's not the point. |

Every day I wear my engagement/wedding rings and my diamond stud earings. For dress I have some pretty pieces (diamonds/pearls/ruby) and depending on what I'm wearing, I will wear whatever is appropriate. Right now, my pearls are being restrung. I'm not big on costume stuff but I like it on other people. |

I don't have much jewelry and lately haven't been so into it. Most days I wear my engagement and wedding rings but not much else. Sometimes a gold bracelet or necklace. One of my favorite necklaces is from beads and it's magnetic - very not typical but really nice! |

i wear my engagement ring, wedding ring, engagement bracelet and watch everyday. for shabbos i either wear gold or pearls or sometimes rubies or diamonds. dh bought me a ruby heart necklace, a diamond heart necklace and i don't like hearts so much (but i like the diamonds and rubies :) )and the other stuff i have is too chunky to wear with some clothes. i hardly ever wear necklaces during the week and i lost a very expensive gold bracelet and feel bad and don't want to replace it although dh does. i threatened him that if he gets me a new bracelet i'm getting him an atarah for his shabbos tallis. |

For those who can only wear gold, look into niobium, titanium and platinum. They are all pure metals, non reactive. Titanium in particular is incredibly non reactive. I always wear my engagement and wedding rings & my watch (an almost 10 year old Swiss Army that I adore. On shabbat I often wear a nicer one though). I also always have earings in both sets of holes. Tiny silver studs generally in the top ones and something long, dangly and silver in the first ones. If I am out I also have on at least once bracelet, likely a necklace and at least one ring although go up to as many as 4 on some fingers some of the time. Hey, I have got to advertize somehow! Sometimes I switchout the necklace for a brooch. |

What do you wear? I wear a single pair of earrings (I let my other hole close up but am getting them redone, then I shall wear two pairs) I have an engagement ring, wedding band and eternity ring in yellow gold/platinum, on my other hand I have a white gold ring with a big (just over a carot) amerthyst in it. I have some other small rings I got at the gold markets in Bali that I wear on and off, along with the promise ring (plain gold band) DH gave me when we were about 17. Otherwise I also wear a white gold and sapphire magen david necklace that I got in Bangkok. Do you only wear real or is costume fun for you too? I like having a couple of real pieces, but if I'm getting dressed up I tend to buy big fun costume pieces. What are your wish/want pieces? I want a ring with my kids birthstones in it and their names on it. There is an online place that does them, but they didnt have any designs I liked for three kids. My dad got me a little gold cross with a ruby in it when I was a teenager. He has since passed away and I'd like to take the tiny ruby out and put it into something else. I also hope to inherit the last ring he brought my mother. Not only coz its beautiful (white gold with two rubies and some small diamonds) but because he took me with him, about a month before he died and I wheeled him into the store and helped him pick out the design. I would also like some nice big dangly earrings to wear with tichels. Favorite gemstone/pearl? Sapphire has always been my fav. I also like Lapis Lazuli and my birthstone topaz. My fav colour is purple so I also like amerthyst. With any gemstone, I favour dark colours, not light. I like opals, but DH is superstitious that they bring bad luck. Dont know what he'll do when I inherit a massive one dad gave my nana! |

Dont tempt me. We are broke from our move. So broke its not funny. BUT, when I do manage to stash away some cash, I'll let you know. I love the pieces you do that I've seen. I'd probably be looking in the range of $20-50 per pair for two or three nice pairs. |

LOL, I meant thats the sort of price I would pay for dressy earrings, I'd probably get some 'basic' ones for every day and interchange the nice/fancy ones every couple of days or something. :) |
