ok- no one is sharing!! please give me your simple (ie even someone who can cook can make it) recipes. so far ive taken ones off of aish and chabad. |

4 C. potato starch 2 eggs 1 1/2 C. sugar 1 C. oil Pinch of salt 2 tsp. vanilla sugar (optional) 4 tsp. baking powder (optional) Mix until crumbly. Do not over mix! Filling: 8-10 apples (peeled and sliced) 1/2 C. sugar 1 1/2tsp. cinnamon 2 T. lemon juice 1/2 C. water Place 1/2 of crumbs on the bottom of two 9round pans. Divide filling between both pans. Sprinkle the rest of crumbs on top. Bake for 1 hour at 350. |

this year will be an interesting experiment. since easter falls during passover and my inlaws are making an easter dinner we need to make sure i cook enough food for me and saul (sasha is too young i think) to eat- but also enough for them to all try it as well. we did this type of thing at hanuchka/christmas and it was well received by the family. oh- and there will be a hindu and seventh day adventist so no pork or shrimp (which is typical for ron's family and im ok with), no beef, and a host of other no nos |
