So....how is everyone doing with their cleaning?

I'm working until next Thursday, so I can't do too much until then. Then we're going away for Shabbos, iy"h, to clean the place where we'll be spending part of Chol Hamoed and the second days. We're coming back Motzei Shabbos b/c the kids have school on Sunday and I plan to turn over the kitchen on Sunday.

I'm not going crazy or panicking (am I nuts? :loony ) b/c my dh cleans the house each week anyway. We're just going to do the "extras", like clean the seams of the chair seat where we know there are crumbs. The kids will help with the toys.

Whew! I'm tired just writing about it!

Lets see. Kitchen almost done. Living room redone. Bedrooms cleaned but messy. But no chametz, so they just need some straightening up. My study area is a mess, playroom not done at all, laundry not done and bathroom not done. Crap.

I am working all day Wednesday. Then best of all, on the following Monday or Tuesday, DH is being sent to work out of town, 3 hours away. So I have to keep the house in order, farm the kids out wherever and try to get to work. And the daycare is shut right through pesach and I havent lined up any vacation care for the older two either.

HELP!!!

Did a big chunk of the playroom before getting sick with some help from the kids. 2 weeks ago I was freaking out from being sick and not able to do a thing and set up 2x last week of mega cleaning help and have the basement almost completely done, the kids room, my room and my office done. The chessed girl that came last week got to help my ds finish cleaning the playroom. I still have to quickly go thru the rooms and need to take care of the kitchen, LR and DR but that can wait for now. Who knows how I will feel next week and the week after and how much I can do myself... Right now walking to the basement = not breathing for like 20 minutes!

The babies' toys will be washed on Sunday b/c they have chometz in them. And I'm asking the parents not to bring chometz next week. Upstairs and the basement will be done by the end of next week or at the latest the following Sunday, which is the day I plan to turn over the kitchen. The living room/dining room will stay chometzdik until after next Shabbos b/c I'm working (I work at home) until next Thursday and then we have to eat chometz on Shabbos. Also, it's too cold for the kids to eat on the porch, so we'll probably do the last cleaning on Tuesday/Bedikas Chometz night.

Then starts the cooking....
