granted we dont do as much as the most- but our biggest issue this year will be keeping passover despite having parties almost daily that are non-jewish. we have 3 birthday parties, easter (for my inlaws) and a few other things that we must attend- all the while not eating nonpassover food. it should be fun.

I am already panicking - I can't do much myself for like 2 more weeks. Hopefully I will get some decent cleaning help who can follow instructions...

Not panicking. Granted I don't do as much as others, but since I'm "adding" and doing a little more each year, I am more concerned than I was last year at this time. My cleaning lady just came and we cleaned everything. No more food outside the kitchen area.

Panicking. panicking aaaaaaahhhhh!!! This year has been BH a million times over hectic. I had a baby, made a bar-mitzva (and had to host a gazillion out of town guests) and now, Pesach. Folks, I need a vacation.I am going to tape up a lot of closets this year I decided....

Am I the only one not panicking? :hide Maybe I'm nuts. :loony beafraid

I find that as long as I'm organized and my lists are done, I can do most of what I want to accomplish. In addition, this year, I have to clean 2 houses, plan (and pack) for away trips on Chol Hamoed, cook (and freeze) the Chol Hamoed food in advance.

No panicking yet here, either. Exhausted resignation that I can't just stop the world for a couple of days? Yes. But panic? Not until at least after this Sunday if I see how little I've accomplished. I have to work all day the Sunday immediately before yom tov (seriously! OY!). So this coming Sunday is the only complete day I have left. I am taking off erev yom tov, but by then, all the cleaning will have to have been done. So that will be my cooking day. I do just wish I could find one more complete, quiet day late next week. I would be all set.

for those of you with lists- can you share them?
we dont sell our stuff- but i do move all the passover stuff to one stop and only passover food goes there.

also- any advice on what i can pack saul for lunch? his preschool provides lunches/snacks but they wont be good for passover (actually the snacks are fine- they will give him fresh fruit)

I don't panic until it's 11:30 the night of bedikat chametz and I'm not done yet...then I panic! I will also panic if my cleaning help gets sick again this week.

What kind of lists do you want?

It depends what Saul likes. For Chol Hamoed lunches/suppers/day trips, I make chicken latkes, hamburgers, omelets (I make a 6 egg omelet, then quarter it. It's smaller and easier to hold than a regular omelet and faster, too.).
