(for Realeez to read while sitting home) Love the Buxoms. Sugar and Krystal are amazing. I also got Sandy in the Earthy Chic kit and it's a little too baby pink for me, but I still really like it. That kit, over all, is nice, but very, VERY earthy and muted. No sparkle, and I need a ton of blush just to see it. I haven't had time to "play" to get it just right yet. The Pure Pleasures kit is a must have. I just love the rich hues and variety. Black pearl is my new favorite purple. Shantung is gorgeous. The rest are just so wonderful too. So different than the Earthy chic look but I see them both as necessities (of course I would) The brushes.. I really needed new brushes. I was just reading that MAC brushes are way better than BE. I may have to invest in them next year at some point, but for now, these came just in time when my brushes are just DONE! The lip palate. Not my favorite. I always want to like it more than I do. I used to have one, and I never used it. I think I can see myself using it more for the fall.. the colors are just not good for right now. I also don't love how they apply. But free is free and I can't return it anyway! (plus, I tried it once and with no receipt I can't do much else with it!!) |

How did you get free stuff? and which stuff were free? I also want to look into new brushes - mine are just too coarse and it's only been a year... pure pleasures looks really nice online. now i am busy with the new kit my bro got me for $12 from target - beyond the basics. there is a summer bisque in there and really it's good on me even though i am pale - i like it under my eyes. you should have seen how i loaded on the BE before going to the dr for followup yesterday - she was the one who really thought i should be admitted. yesterday she said i looked good :) |

My friend had a fund raiser for her son who has retinitis pigmentosa. He's going blind. ALL of it was free! She contacted Leslie Blodgett and told her about her fund raiser and asked for a donation. It was a basket worth $200. |

Yes.. it was a raffle. I put in $25 (and another $25 into other random prizes). Some guy behind me on line there asked me if the BE basket was any good. I said NO! Bad basket... He knew I was kidding. |
