isn't this the most important part of politics? Kidding :) :hide1 Posted Image I liked the outfit but don't love the gown... In some pictures it wasn't so flattering on her and people said it didn't look like she tried practicing dancing in it before the event. |

i liked them- though that one photo is not very flattering. there is also talk about how the girls wore clothing from j crew rather than designer made stuff |

I liked them. Not my style, but they fit hers. It must be fun to be fussed over all of a sudden. Yes.. the girls wore J Crew and this fall J Crew will be releasing similar dresses/coats to the public. Not identical.. they want the Obama girls to have originals. |

Her inauguration dress looked different when I watched it online. I saw it from the side, so I didn't see the scarf or ribbon closure. Otherwise, I liked the dress. It's not my style, but I think it suited her. However, I don't like the gown. I loved the girls' coats. They were very pretty. I liked the orange coat and scarf. It's interesting that they're from J. Crew as opposed to designer clothing. Although, technically, if they are made special for them, are not available to the public yet and are originals, isn't that designer clothing? |

I dont like short bodices on gowns, I think they make almost everyone look dumpy. The gown was ok otherwise, not wow, but ok. The other outfit, well, I detest lime green, and I hat ribbon closures. But, the idea was there. I wouldnt wear either, personally, but I'd kill for her figure :) |

her gown was also from an up and coming designer instead of one of the big ones. |

The whole idea of the gown is strange. |
