Hi all We are hoping to get married in Jersey in November. We both live in London but we are looking for a venue for the service and somewhere for a meal afterwards - for about 20 people or so. I am doing my research via the internet at the moment but we are hoping to visit at the end of March and actually look at venues etc so any recommendations greatfully received. I am also considering getting married in one venue and then maybe having a lazy meal in a restaurant or something - what do you guys think? Thanks and good luck to you all. Debz |

Hi all I am getting married in June 2010. I am currently searching for venues and although we have found a couple that we love we are worried about the budget. The hotels offer packages with a price which is fine but how do you know how much everything else is going to cost (worried about hidden charges!!) or if the hotel will turn around and ask for more! I have searched all over the internet although not many sites show prices. Can anyone advise me how much I can expect to pay for a traditional wedding (excluding the venue & hotel packages) any shops which they have found good or is it worth having a wedding planner, if so any ideas how much they are.... Hard one to answer I suppose.... but any help would be appriciated Thanks |
