At the risk of wearing out my welcome... Like I mentioned above, JACwiki is now working but I don't know what kind of mark up language is allowed in my entries. I got the answers from Google but I thought it would be nice if I could list those possibilities on the main page but while looking at the source code, I noticed that they WERE listed but not showing up for some reason. I saw a reference to a config/config.php. I added a folder (which failed to be automatically created during install) named "config" to the directory I uploaded all the JACwiki files to. I didn't think just creating a blank file named config.php would work here so I uploaded the install file again and ran it. Now, after another successful install, the Main page does list the mark up choices. I checked the wiki/config folder and saw that it now contained a config.php file. To the author: thanks for sharing this program. It looks like it will be fun to work with and useful. But a small amount of documentation would help. Like what to expect to see after a successful install. |
