I installed JacWiki because I liked the description --simple, text-based --something I thought I could understand and work with. But it's not working and I'm a little frustrated at the lack of documentation. I uploaded all the files into their own directory and ran the index file and it claimed to have a successful install. I wanted to chmod the files as instructed after the install but I don't know where they are. The instruction said to chmod (777) the Configuration folder, the data folder, the data/archive, and the data/delete. I could find no files or directories by these names. I guessed that data/archive might be the save.php file and chmod'd it. As for the others I have no clue. I proceeded to the Wiki as suggested anyway to see if it would work. I attempted to write and save a test article but when I hit Submit, I get an error message: Attempt to save files failed Can anyone tell me where the configuration and data folders might have been installed? Is there any documentation at all? Thanks a lot. Ray |
