Announcements
Hello members and guests! We have a few announcements here to make, first off; IK Reopens! After being closed for way too long, me and Luna have worked and brought IK back!
And we have a New Theme! I basically finished it, and just put it up last night. Let me know what you think.
We even got a new thing here, where you can help Build a Community, where you can make your own tavern or shop for In Character purposes, to give more depth to a character if they own a shop, then get your own forum for it.
There are also plenty of new forums! Welcome the Continents of Lebenna and Estahs!

That's all for now, but since we're getting back in action, plots will be started soon, where your characters can be a part of, and help the world either be destroyed, or saved.

Endless dust. Zelle felt like she could easily be doing something more productive than wandering through it, yet there was purpose in her visit. She had dismissed her guards, but knew they were still hiding about somewhere out of sight. They were stuck between a rock and a hard place. If they were caught Zelle would have their heads and if they lost sight of the princess, the king would have their heads. Zelle knew they were doing their best to skate between the line, but had yet to actually catch them. Perhaps in this bleak landscape she would have a better chance of finding them, though that wasn't exactly the purpose of the trip.

She was looking for specific plant, a toxic cactus. She didn't send someone else to do it because she didn't need them knowing her business and spreading more troublesome rumors. They always seemed to spread a few before she could get their heads removed and ensure their silence, stupid servants.

The horse trailing behind her carried the supplies she'd need for the expedition, but there was still enough room for her to ride it. She wasn't riding it of course because she wasn't very fond of horses. Wings made a mount so much better, but her personal mount was getting pampered for the day. Blood apparently didn't come out of feathers very well.

Zelle's triple-headed scythe bounced on her shoulder as she approached a crumpled figure on the ground. A dead snake. She prodded it with the butt of her scythe before picking it up with one of the scythe's sharp points. Within in a few seconds she determined it's quality was too poor for taxidermy and shortly after heaved the snake into the air. Before the snake fell to the ground Zelle's scythe flashed through air and severed the head from the rest of the body.

He was bored. Though Tallak always had something to do, whether it be burning things, killing things, or hurting someone, it was still annoying, with Chain always coming down on him, still raving on about his daughter being dead, even if it wasn't all that much of Cadaver's fault. But, Chain could be blaming him because he hadn't done anything to save his 'sister', her death had been just too exciting to see, it was like that one night when his parents were killed by the commoners.

So, since Tallak was boring and he had time off from the academy (actually he got suspended for a few days for 'accidentally' pushing someone down some stairs since they were annoying him), so, he took a sky ship, and came to Kingdom of the Hell for the night. He got a horse with the money he took when Chain and Eriel weren't looking and left without saying anything, without telling him was a bit suspended. Like they would miss him anyway.

He was walking through Hells Desert, leading the horse as he walked. Black falling over his purple eyes, dark clothes looking dusty from walking and riding through most of the day. A longsword resting at his side.

It was bit boring, but better than hanging around home.

Then he saw a figure in the distance, and something shining flash through the air the bright sun glinting off the metal. Interested in this, he walked closer, stopping once to tie the horses reins around a dried up tree and heading towards the person. When he saw it was a girl, the interest grew more and more, especially seeing the scythe she carried, it was easy to tell she could take of herself easily.

"Well, look at you. Aren't you just a odd sight to see. Didn't know girls here used such weapons." He said, frowning some. Though she was the only person here he's seen that carried a weapon like that.

"Another clean shot," Zelle mused to herself as she inspected the head. Wasn't nearly the right shape to be used for a ball, but for now it would do well enough. She surprised to hear she had company and was quite sure it wasn't the guards. They valued their lives too much to come to get decapitated. If it was them they'd have quickly stated some emergency to barter for a pardon on the offense. This was someone else. Someone worrying about the well being of a princess in her own desert? Some bandit hoping to take advantage of girl all by her lonesome? Hopefully the latter, it would guarantee a better head to play with.

She didn't look immediately, curious at how long it would take the individual to speak up, and instead continued inspecting the head. The voice seemed familiar, yet clearly was no one noted as important. By his words he was clearly some misinformed traveler. "Of course they don't," Zelle laughed as she brought the scythe's top head to the ground. She squared her hims and drew the scythe back. "They value their heads too much," Zelle mused as she brought the blunt side of the weapon against the skull, spiraling it into the distance. Zelle frowned at the estimated distance, not as good as she would like, particularly with company even if he was here only to lose his head.

"The only one who uses such a weapon would the Princess of Hell, Zelle Eazuris, which of course happens to be none other than me, but surely you already knew that," Zelle said as she turned her gaze to the boy wondering if she was in the mood to have his head for such blatant ignorance. Moments later she wished she hadn't looked. She had seen the boy before... at the academy. She couldn't recall his name though, which wasn't surprising, he probably wasn't much important anyways.

"Perhaps you should introduce yourself, before I show you how it's used," Zelle smiled sweetly as she pondered over the boy's life. Being a noble it was even more pathetic that he didn't know who she was, yet something about killing a fellow academy student bothered her. Perhaps she should detain him get him expelled and then kill him, yet she was no good with detaining anything living. Useless knights won't be of any assistance either.

He watched the girl. She was different. Odd. And it felt like he knew her from somewhere, but he really didn't care for anyone so never seemed to remember people all that well, not like he had a need to remember them, unless they were gonna be his toys for a while. But when she said her name, he immediately knew who that was. From the academy. People had seemed to avoid her because most thought her terrifying, but Cadaver just didn't care.

"No, I didn't. But its not like I care, especially if your a princess." He said carelessly, shrugging his shoulders, than grinning. Obviously not taking her as much of a threat, even with the wicked scythe she held. She wouldn't be the only one who knew how to fight here. But he had a feeling that there would be guards nearby, if she were truly a princess.

"I'm Cadaver Falachieve of Tallak." He said, not even bowing to the girl, total disrespect for the princess. But what would she do about it? Purple eyes looking at the snakes body a moment, before rising to rest on the slightly, older girl. A smile flickering over his face, though, not a friendly one.

The disrespectful little ingrate. Death alone was not good enough for this one, and yet all her special toys were at home. She decided to let him leave for now, but only to ensure his death was painfully slow. Stupid guards, if they were present she wouldn't have to worry about what to do with the fellow. He probably came by for more than to throw insults at her and if he followed perhaps she might be able make some use of the unintelligent fool before his demise "Ah, right. You're that sad lump that no one cares about at the academy, probably no not a soul in the world either," Zelle said with a sweetness betrayed by her insulting words as she turned her back on the boy and began to walk in the direction of the launched head. She didn't honestly know if it was true as she still couldn't rightly recall hearing much about the fellow, but anyone with the nerve to disrespect her so openly in her own kingdom, had to be some friendless loser of whom even destiny had failed to love.

She pondered ignoring him, yet no, that didn't ever do any good. It would only make him more annoying. The mere fact that he breathed unbound was annoying enough. "And you call me the odd one? Since it's clear you no longer value your head and I'm not in the in the mood to claim it, why do you linger? Waiting for me to give you some task to grant meaning to your otherwise meaningless life?" Zelle asked as she shouldered her scythe.

Cadaver smiled, as if he didn't care, though his eyes flashed with annoyance. "That's probably all true. But at least I'm not a spoiled little brat who plays a evil mistress who tries too hard to act all high and mighty." He said, watching the girl. Nobles were such a pain. Though he was still one by birth, even if his family were killed and he was adopted into another, though, no one really knew that.

He snorted with laughter. "Hardly. I'm here 'cause I'm bored." And that was all the explanation he thought was needed, since it was the truth after all. Though, he figured there were a lot more fun things to do then mock royalty, but his horse did need a little break for a moment before continuing the little vacation he was taking.

"What about you, oh-I'm-so-evil princess? Shouldn't you be at home in a high castle tower knitting instead of wandering around the desert choppin' up snakes?"

Stupid little twit wanted to dance on thin ice. His disrespect was rightfully infuriating, but she acted as if she were unaffected, why give him the pleasure of knowing his words were anything but meaningless. "You reek of stupidity, quite sad really. Your poor mother must have surely been a klutz as it's clear you were dropped well more than once as a child. I shudder to think of the horrible marks you must receive at the academy. A peasant's three-year old could conjure a better insult than you. You're simply too illogical to invoke much emotion, quite sad, quite sad," Zelle smiled. She was quite sure she was probably right. Mental deficiency would clearly explain why no one in the world care about him as well as well why he had the tongue of a village idiot. Pity his parents hadn't done the proper thing when they noticed and kill him. Tallak really needed to buckle down on its laws, though she would fix that once it came a part of her empire.

"Quite sad that you're bored too. Means I'm right again. Boredom is just a sign of your life lacking meaning, lacking purpose. Your curiosity with my own affairs only confirms this. This Desert is a part of Hell, and all of Hell is mine to do with and visit as I please. But, of course you're clearly too stupid to think of something so simple. If truly desire me to sate your curiosity concerning my affairs, I suggest you stop speaking with the words of a village idiot, if at all that's possible," Zelle answered apathetically. If he hung around he was probably stupid enough that she would be able to trick him into testing the effects of the poison and if not then she would just have to overcome his wiry frame.

"Aw, your a bit way off, sweetie." He hummed, smiling thinly. Purple eyes stared at the girl, suddenly unamused, uninterested. She may have that dark look and a presence that was thick with a darkness around her, but that didn't even seem to faze him, so what if she was dark person? She was still a stuck-up little girl (even though she was older than her). "I'm actually not that bad in class." He said, feigning a thoughtfulness as he leaned back slightly, eyes never wavering from the girl.

"Or I just ran out of toys to play with..." He glared at the girl, before smiling softly, darkly. "Just because I say I'm bored doesn't mean I have no meaning in life, princess. And, as I see it, Hell isn't yours yet, if I'm correct your father is still alive." He said. Though he's never meet the man, he hasn't met any high nobles besides those at the academy, but didn't care much either way.

"And here I was to believe that princesses and other royalty were kind and different outside of Tallak. Instead their sniveling little children. Children aren't fun to play with." He sighed, as if it were a disappointment, seeming to ignore the girl completely now as his gaze wandered around the desert, looking for something more interesting.

She certainly wasn't going to buy into that lie, particularly if that was the only defense he had for himself. By his words only he could be placed just above the bottom of the class. "Any little boy can tell a lie. There's already evidence of your poor performance left to light, after all everyone does receive marks for etiquette, of which you are clearly lacking in. I'm sure it's not the only area where your results are dismal," Zelle scoffed.

"You poor ignorant child, You clearly don't understand the relationship between a father and his only daughter. I say 'jump', Daddy asks 'how high'. If you see that Hell is not mine, then your perception is perhaps more flawed than the rest of your mind," Zelle grinned. Men were so stupid and boys even more so. Wrapping a man around one's finger was a simple affair as it had been with her father. Removing her mother from his life only made things simpler for Zelle and allowed to tighten her grip on her father. Only a fool could call him a real obstacle to the throne at this point, though Zelle would do away with the old coot when the time came.

"Sniveling child? Aren't you the one who spoke of toys defeating your boredom? Aren't you the one speaking of playing with others like a mere child? Perhaps the heat has proven too much for your already muddled mind. I would hope that is the reason for your recent stupidity," Zelle mused as she stopped. She tapped the bottom of her chin with the pointing finger on her free hand as she wondered if dehydration and heat exhaustion could explain his deplorable and asinine behavior. She knew it drove people crazy, especially those unaccustomed to the heat as was likely the case with the fool. Still, even that didn't pardon his unforgivable actions. If only she had a portable torture chamber them she wouldn't have to let him off the hook seemingly scotch-free. She made a mental note to find a way of getting such a place in the future.

What was she going on about now? Cadaver wasn't paying attention anymore, any interest he had in the girl was gone in a flash and the boredom settled in again. He hated being looked down on, hated having his pride just poked at, hated dealing with little brats like her who prattled on and on like she was some great goddess. But he held no interest in those type of people. They were fun to maim and the like, but she was from the academy, he didn't need to get expelled yet, it would just be a nuisance for him, and sides, he didn't think the girl would have very good screams anyway so wouldn't bother himself with that.

When she mentioned her father, Cadaver just crouched down and picked something off the ground that looked to be a broken branch from some tree, but underneath the dust, it turned out to be a piece of metal that could have once been from a dagger. Running his finger along the blade with an absent-mind.

"Uh-huh. isn't that great." He murmured as she spoke, not even looking at her.

"Slicing through flesh, pealing it off, watching rubies drip, as their eyes fall out... though its the most fun in this world... regular toys are hard to find..." He whispered when the girl was done speaking. People, were his toys, playing, was the torture he inflicted on them. Cadaver, still looking absent-minded.
