Species Information Singular: Tribb Plural: Tribbs Young: Cub Group: Clan Description: Tribbs are small, furry creatures that have a long, racoon-like tail. Normally about the size of a man’s fist, the some species can grow even larger than that. Soft fur covers their entire bodies, thinning only around the eyes and mouth. Their tails are unique from Tribb to Tribb, consisting of alternating stripes of their fur colour and another colour. With no actual feet, Tribbs move by bouncing or hitching a ride on a more mobile creature. They are omnivores by nature, and have small but sharp teeth that can easily inflict damage on anyone foolish enough to stick a finger into their mouths. Chase: Once a female reaches maturity, she will start screeching to let any males in the area know. During this time, it is wise for their bonded to take them to a more secluded place if they don’t wish to have a constant headache or annoy their neighbours. After all the males have gathered, they will compete to try to win the female’s affection, usually by showing off how high they can bounce or showing off their strength by biting through specific objects. Bonding: A female will give birth to a litter of 6 to 10 cubs, depending on her age and health. After a month of nursing, they will be ready to be bonded, so the mother will the cubs to an open space and watch over the proceedings. Cubs can be lured with toys, shiny objects and food, and will usually bond with someone whom they feel most comfortable with. Ranks Gold Gold Tribbs are the only ones who are able to give birth, and are the largest species because of this. Their bodies are covered in golden fur, the exact shade varying between different females. The tail stripes are usually the opposite hue of gold than their bodies are, but can be silver in rare cases. Most Golds are stuck-up around strangers, but are very caring of those they trust. 4 CP Silver As their name implies, these always-male Tribbs come in different shades of silver, ranging from bright chrome to tarnished steel. Their tail stripes are typically black or dark grey. Slightly smaller than Golds, they take pride in being cool and collected, and like learning about anything and everything. 2 CP Bronze Only a little bit bigger than the average Tribb, Bronzes are very laid back by nature. Their fur are varying shades of brown, and is much shorter than any other species. Pale shades of brown are normal for their tail stripes. They love snuggling with their bonded, and enjoy all the attention they can get. Can be either male or female, but males are more common. 2 CP Red With blazing tempers to match their fiery fur, Red Tribbs can be of either gender. Quick to react to any situation, they can often be stubborn and disagreeable with their bonded. But they never hold a grudge for long, and often apologize by bringing their bonded trinkets. Stripes can either be orange or a shade of yellow. 1 CP Blue Imitating colours found in the sea, Blues vary in hue from the palest turquoise to midnight blue. Their tails are a mix of white and pale green, although shades of blue have been known to appear. Always female, they are very close to those they bond with and hate to be far from them. 1 CP Green With fur that reminds one of spring and the spectrum of green that can be seen then, Green Tribbs are another all-male species. Tails stripes are often yellow, but pink and white colours show up on occasion. Averaging the same size as a Bronze, these boys are spunky and very playful with both their bonded and others. Known by some to be pranksters, they always return what they take. 1 CP Patched The smallest species of all, the long fur of a Patched Tribb is a confusing mix of white and black. Sometimes they have a black coat with random white tuffs, other times it is reversed. Or there is an equal mixture of both colours, making them resemble a zebra. Their tail stripes can literally be any colour, making for a very odd-looking Tribb. Personalities are vast and varied; one can be distant and aloof, while another might be cuddly and crave attention. Patched Tribbs can be of either gender. 1 CP |
