Tatsuko's smiled widened at Miroir's antics; the woman was a bit of an enigma to her - people that age weren't allowed to behave in that manner- as silly and carefree as they wished. As one grew older, they were given more responsibility, and the scars of war -both physical and psychological- put them on constant survival mode. Fight to live another day, take care of your own, take care of yourself; there was no room for play in their way of life.

Elves were a mystery to her - but so where many of the people and creatures that dwelled on Planet. She had learned to throw most of her prejudice out the window and come to terms that this world was at peace. She glanced toward Jessabella, her smile widening when she offered to instruct her. Even if they were only a few lessons, they would first steps into her journey. She'll gather whatever techniques she could and make them her own. One day, she would start her own dojo, the first dojo on Planet.

"I'd really like that. Like Miroir said, we both want a bond like Maethor. " She wondered what training the young woman had, but she doubted she'd be able to hold her own against a panthera. "They'd definitely help us keep safe; the forest can be such a pain sometimes." Not long ago, a Vargul had attempted to make a meal out of her. A common, it was easy enough to beat and escape from.

If she’d been pressed, Miroir would probably have guessed that the differences between elves and not-elves was pointy ears; she’d never even read books about the fair folk, when she was younger. But she didn’t particularly mind what the real things might be; Jessabella was friendly, and a good person. Tatsuko, too! Such nice people here on the weird planet.
“The forest is definitely a pain,” Miroir grinned, rolling one shoulder so that it made a loud crack-snap, “even the trees are dangerous!”
Dangerous if you ran into them while speeding down the highway on a motorcycle, anyway.
“And I’d definitely like having a handsome kitty around,” she added in a loud whisper, one hand beside her mouth so that it looked like she didn’t want Maethor to hear, “He’s so big and strong; I wouldn’t stand a chance fighting against any of his friends. I’ll need to start working out, or something!”
Miroir didn’t count her daily runs around the Weyrd, or the occasional labour job she’d managed to find. That was work, not training, and she knew enough to realize that they weren’t the same thing. She wasn’t about to ask Jess-jess if she wanted another ‘apprentice’, since the elf already had Tassu, but maybe she’d drop by to watch, sometime...

Jessabella smiled at Miroir her eyes looking over to Maethor whom was ignoring them all and then back to the girl, she couldn't see the girl with a Panthera but this world was full of surprises so whom knew what any one of them would end up with as bonds "Why don't you join us Miroir, I'm sure I can handle helping both of you out" the expression on her face was both serious and kind as she made her offer to the girl, she didn't mind helping them both out and she knew that she would enjoy their company and she needed that company badly after so long on her own.

Shifting to Tatsu she nodded in agreement "Aye, the forest is dangerous ... it was a shock to me as the forests I once knew where never this dangerous" the elf sobered and the smile left her lips for a moment as she thought of the danger in this world "I think it's something we all learned the hard way" Jessabella knew she was assuming a lot, but they both seemed to be from peaceful planets though as she now knew appearances can be very deceptive and this world seemed to be full of impossibility
