Welcome to the Wilderness...
IC
Spring : April (April Begins: March 20th)
Spring is really kicking in now. The world seems much greener and in general the weather is much warmer, even ideal. Rain visits the land in short bursts, and frequently. When it's not raining, the sky is fairly clear and the sun is bright and warm. It looks like it will be a promising month, full of hope and life for all the animals in the Wilderness.
Mating: No
Pups: Yes

If Smalltail noticed the slightly exaggerated caliber of her nods, he made no indication of it at all. In all likelihood, of course, he didn’t realize it at all – it had been a long time since he had been in the presence of a wolf one might consider sarcastic… or demeaning. She was toying with him, and he didn’t even seem to notice. That or he really didn’t care, so he continued on as if it didn’t matter – and it really didn’t.
Smalltail was right back to appearing rather indifferent by the time he was quite finished speaking.
His fuzzy brows rose, ”You want a tour?” and almost immediately, his brows lowered, furrowing a bit. He had no reason to deny her a tour. No reason to give her one, either. ”A tour?” he repeated to himself, snoring softly and shaking himself a little. ”There isn’t much worthy of being seen around here. These plains are large and relatively the same wherever you wander within their borders. Particularly with the snow.” he grumbled the last part softly, a frown touching his lips.
He wondered if that would change the smug little she-wolf’s mind at all. He had a feeling it wouldn’t. So he resigned himself to his fate before she ever responded, his head level with his shoulders again and ears splayed as they often were, even when he wasn’t in the presence of others.

Hawk shifted from paw to paw. Just standing in the snow was enough to cause her to grow cold, despite her fluffy pelt. That and the fact that she was hungry and quite bored. She had long ago regained a majority of her energy, and that energy made it nearly impossible for her to stand still in this type of situation. Smalltail was growing duller by the moment (not really, but the more bored she became with talking, the less attractive talking to him became). His vague little answer was exactly what she had expected he would give. Smalltail obviously wasn't the type that would take her up on her request, and she wasn't exactly in the mood to force him. If she did, the likelihood that the tour would be interesting was slim to none. He would probably just meander around, his little tail tucked between his legs, his voice just as dull as it was now. Hawk didn't know how much more she could take.

With a blatant yawn, the petite she-wolf cocked her head and stared at him. Her ears twitched from side to side in a subconscious effort to find something interesting to listen to. Unfortunately, there was nothing. Instead, she stretched, kicking one leg out behind her in a sort of involuntary twitch. Another shake of her fur rid her muscles of the tingling feeling they experienced from the stretch. Hawk shot Smalltail an apathetic look, "Okay Mr. Circle. I'll take your word for it. Cyas." And like that, she was gone. She didn't wait for a goodbye or anything (not that he would have given it to her). Instead, she just took off at a flat-out run towards the woods. It was time to go find something to eat, or at least some new company. However, she already knew that plans to track down Smalltail in the future were beginning to manifest in the back of her mind. She felt he would prove to be an interesting plaything.
