sapling Posts: 19 Group: Members Member #3 Joined: Jun 25, 2008 gender female	It is quite easy to look like an idiot when square dancing, especially when the people you're dancing with have no idea what they're doing, serious domino effect. I mean, come on people, how hard is it to "swing your partner", do a "right and left grand" and "promenade till you get back home"! It's not confusing. The caller also seemed to need to teach us our left from our right, and I must tell you, if you can't tell left from right really quickly, you will be very lost in these dances, people do it all the time. And why, why do they let four-year-olds do this? I, being as short as I am already, should not have to stoop and pretty much carry this little kid around, especially when they look like they're about to bite my head off. People around here seem to have been cursed with a Deliverance look But not all was bad yesterday; I met a new guy, he signed my shirt And I danced with someone who did know what they were doing, for the third year in a row, and that was actually one of my highlights... even though I was teased about him for the rest of the night I got to see friends that I haven't seen since January. I forced one of them to dance with me, and they forced me to take pictures in weird poses... Yes, this thread is pretty much pointless, deal with it

XD Actually, it's probably one of the easiest dances out there, the caller TELLS you what to do.. you just need to know what he's saying.. ai ai. ROFL, nice thread Claire. XD
