Couple of things we ought to straighten out.
- Please split up his personality into two paragraphs instead of one huge one. - What is this cosmic view you mention? I don't see it in his power section and it's not mentioned in his history.
Pretty strong for an 18 year old. - 60 tons might be a bit much when it comes in addition to all his other powers. You might want to tone his strength down a notch. - He's got a lot of weight and muscle to move, so you can add a sentence about how it takes a bit of running to get him going, and to reach 80 mph. - How strong is his healing factor in human and in bear form - Why can he fly? and does he retain this ability in bear form?
- How can someone with super strength, durability and healing factor reach cosmic levels? No matter how much he will grow his powerset and is pretty limited, and it's no reasonable to expect that he would reach "cosmic levels" in a single lifetime. Maybe you worded it poorly or I misunderstood, please elaborate on this.
- Even if it's mentioned in his history you can't justify being proficient in so many martial arts, especially not when he spent little more than a couple of years in "military" training, which Canadian or not, rarely involves ninjutsu and various forms of kung fu.
- No 18 year old vigilante carries more ammunition and equipment to wage war on the free world and Frank Castle. It's not logical for someone with all of his powers to carry guns, especially not when it doesn't look like he's big on killing. A 10 feet bear certainly can't wield tonfa swords or guns, and as a kid I doubt they would be much good, unless he butchers all of the criminals he faces.
I don't really like to start picking on "flaws" in people's histories since that's mostly all up for debate, but there are some things you better explain. - How'd 3 kids survive a mauling by a bear? Take a beating from an angry bear and you won't be running for help, you'll be knocking on the pearly gates. - Apparently he went into the military, learned some stuff, and then spent years trying to cope with the fact that he was a mutant? He is 18 NOW, the military does not recruit people straight out of grade school. - Alpha Flight do not pick up mutant vigilantes out of nowhere, and they especially do not give them weapons and then let them take off after a month. There are some things that are pretty illogical, and need to be explained here. You should try and think of a time line for your character and possibly a way to avoid involving the Government and Alpha flight. One of the problems here is that you're trying to fit 40 years worth of experience and training into an 18 year old super hero packed with weapons, a bitchin' motorcycle and blue hair. Take a look at the Original Character and Canon Character rules, and the application rules, and give this another full read. There are a couple of spelling errors that should be relatively easy to fix. This can still be a great character, but you need to try and think a little more cookie-cutter and perhaps work out a little more "traditional" history. |

1. This is done and should be better 2. This is weird question since you one rewrote the powers but I answer it best I can. 2a. dropped it to forty ton level 2b. added that he has build up to get to 80 mph 2c. if wolverine is a 10 then it would be about a 7 in bear form and a 4 in human but His age is slowed like wolverine 2d. nope why power states in humanoid form hence he only do it why true form. 3. thinking he become in area of an asgardian or a eternal power wise but this every far off 4. will adjust it to adjust it to art that military can learn and keep one rest trash 5. will he not a hero so he has no quarrels of killing criminal to save the person but I will get rid of it just make him use fighting skill instead but screwed against a gun. 6. it not hard to crawl away to get help if bear stops mauling you for someone else but look at rewording it I guest. it's a time passed and stuff but will fix it best i can I guess. stuff will be done slowly but I am working on it. |

- Thanks, now it's easier on the eyes. You forgot to remove or elaborate on the cosmic view bit.
- Could you add the extent of the injuries he can heal? Even Wolverine go from being take out by a slit wrist, to being able to heal himself from a skeleton. - Okay. And what about his powers is it that makes him able to fly?
- Alas this does not explain much either. As it is now he is probably equal to a regular Asgardian Warrior, but still inferior to any Eternal. There's also a matter of their powerset as the "stronger" Asgardians have very different powers. The Eternals are virtually impossible to kill, being able to heal from injuries that would make Wolverine look like a grade-schooler. Most of their powers are also tied down to energy powers and magic. While you probably didn't put too much thought into it, there is no feasible way a mutant with relatively basic super strength/durability/healing would ever rival Eternals. Even Magneto has to call it quits against most of them and his powers are much more "growth" friendly then yours. If you want room to grow and lots of potential, I suggest a different line of powers. He could probably grow up to be on par with Fing Fang Foom once he gets much more older, but that is probably the limit.
All right, fair enough. I'm a patient man, take your time Niw and don't lose courage! Keep up the good work! Edited by llagrok, Mar 19 2009, 01:51 PM.

Good stuff, thanks for getting on it so quickly.
Like I told you when we spoke in the chat, you need to specify what kind of injuries he can heal. Wolverine and Hulk's healing factor vary a lot, and it's difficult to say how they would apply to him. Wolverine in example does not have to worry about regrowing limbs, since he cannot lose them. You need to write down what kind of injuries he would be capable of healing. And like I said, he can't heal lethal injuries in minutes, and that's is far superior to what Huc/Wolvie have. |
