<ENTER> The Renegade entered the area, Oren turned on the com link "This is Oren Drake in the Gn10R Renegade requesting permission to land" he said, the com crackled "You can take dock number 18" the air traffic controller responded. "Right" he replied as he pulled back on the the throttle heading towards that direction. He looked at Elisa "I'd buckle up if I were you" he said to her as he pushed foward to begin their desent. Oren fliped a few switches and the landing the gear began to lower just as he got close enough for touchdown. The Renegade touched the ground and bounced a few times as it started to fully land. Once down Oren started to slow the vessel down till it came to a complete stop. "Hell of a landing if I do say so myself" he said as he started to open the hatch, he lowered the ladder and climbed down stretching as he did. He looked around at all the crystals. "Wow this place is kinda freaky" he said "Well I think we should head into the casino see if we can find any eye witnesses if Shredder was last seen around here, I don't think he would have went unnoticed. Elisa took a deep breath when Oron brought the ship in really steeply. She wised she had a control system so she could take control, but she doubt she could do much better not flow this type of ship before. Once they touched down she looked up at Drake. "That is hard to believe you have survived this long with the way you fly and drive." She said unbuckling her seat belt. She then jumped out of the fighter and used her biotic to slow her decent to a soft landing next to Drake. Drake said they should go question people about Shredder. "OR we could also hit the tables. I have been known to play a mean game of Skyllian-Five." She said to Drake. "Then again, I guest we should work first, have fun later." She said with a pouty face. Elisa followed Drake into the casino. "So, maybe we should talk to security, they may have security footage of him." She said looking around the casino. |

"Well, people say I have a lot of luck" he said to her about his flying and driving skills. "I've been shot more times then I car to count..." he said pointing to the bullet wounds that could be seen on his arms. When she said they should hit the tables he thought about it for a moment "Not a bad idea" He said to her knowing they could play up to their strengths "You hit the tables, get any info from people you can there, and well feel free to gamble if you want. I'll handle security" he said. He figured if need be he could break into their systems if need be but he'd hope that wouldn't be the case. Once inside Oren looked around he noticed the security office and the tables "We can meet at the bar in about an hour and compare notes, you know unless you feel we need to stick together on this one. Up to you" he said to her. |

Elisa smiled and nodded. "Lady luck is one my side, I survived riding with you in a primitive land vehicle and fighter." She said pulling out some gold coins "See you in an hour. Elisa then heading over to the exchange counter. Elisa placed the coins on the counter. "I would like to exchange these for chips." She said. The person behind the counter took the gold coins and weighted them "That is five hundred credits worth of chips. Enjoy your gaming." She said putting several trays of chips on the counter for Elisa. Elisa stacked up the trays of chips and headed into the casino. She walked around looking at the different games they had. She noticed the slot machines and passed them up continuing on to a poker table. She walked up and looked at the few guys around it. "What is the game you guys are doing?" She asked them. The deal looked up at her. "No limit Five card draw. Ante is ten chips." He said. Elisa smiled. "May I join you boys?" She said motioning to the empty seat. None of the players objected and she sat down. She placed the chips to her left and placed her ante. She looked at her cards and started to play the hands. She had nothing but slop and quickly dropped three cards. "So, I heard their was some action around these parts lately. Something about an attack." She said tossing out a small ten chip bet. She two pair but she was playing for the long haul. She would need to get reads on people and the best. The other players called and showed their hands. It turned out that a three of a kind beat her out. "Ya, some nuts attacked one of this casinos vaults." One guy said. "Ya, I swear we are getting more crazies crossing over these days." Another added. Elisa continue to pay with the men. She was not winning but she was not losing either. She was holding her own. "Does anyone know anything about these guys. I don't really want to run into trouble while I am in the area." She said to the other players. One of the guys looked at her. "You are not safe anywhere, these guys have been raiding the planet for supplies for months. They have a ship. Their are even rumors that several small villages to the north were completely abducted. Why would anyone abduct an entire village." He said. Elisa looked down at the cards she just got. She was just thrown the last queen in the deck. She did not changer her appearance as she looked at them. The other man at the table also must have something big because he reached for his pile of chips and threw in one hundred. Elisa looked at him. "I see your hundred and raise you two hundred." She said pushing a good majority of her chips out. She had been counting his chips and knew that would put him near bust. The man looked at her. "You don't got anything and you just provide it. I see your two hundred and raise you. Before I say who much I want to know if you are willing to play for something more then just the chips. I will bet the deed to one of my ships if you can put something of somewhat equal value on the table." He said to her. Elisa knew he had a hand, but it couldn't be stronger then hers. Elisa looked at him. "I well be the fighter I arrived in and the remaining chips." She said to him. The man nodded and looked at the others. "You have a deal. Show them." He said. Elisa flipped over the cards. "All the ladies of the court with their escort." She said showing the four queens and the king. The man tossed the losing hand the the dealer. "The ship is at landing pad twenty seven Alpha. Here is the access code." He said writing it down. "And well played." He said to her. Elisa stood up an shook his hand. "It was an honor playing with you." She said before sliding over several hundred chips. "And thank you for all the information." Elisa looked at her watch and it was already an hour and ten minutes. She said giving each of the other players around fifty chips and the dealer also fifty chips. She then collected the remaining chips and the piece of paper with the access code of the ship and ran to the bar. Elisa looked it over and noticed that Drake was already sitting at a table. She ran up. "Sorry I am late. I just what to finishes cleaning out some chumps." She said setting about seven hundred chips on the table. "Got anything good?" She asked him. Eventually a waitress walked up and asked Elisa what she would have. "I am with him, I will take a hot chocolate, extra marshmallows. The change is yours." She said giving the waitress a handful of chips which was well more then what the drinks that they order was worth. |

Oren walked over to the security office and knocked on the door. "Who is it?" one of the guards asked "Police" Oren replied the guard opened the door and looked at Oren "Cop? Yeah right get the the hell outta here" he said to Oren about to close the door, Oren put his foot in it and smirked at the security guard. "Yeha okay, I'm not a police officer, I'm a bounty hunter" he said to the guy "I'm looking for someone, well info on someone" Oren said to him "I think you may have something on your recordings" the security guard stared at Oren "Take a hike" he said, Oren sighed and slipped the guy 200 bucks "Can I check now?" he asked. The guard smirked and opened the door, Oren walked in and looked around. "What are you looking for?" The security guard asked. Oren held out the data pad "Guy's name is Oroku Saki, goes by Shredder. Seen him?" He asked. The security guard shook his head "No one wearing a can opener as a get up has been in or out of this place lately, or even the surronding area". Oren crossed his arms "Well the guy runs a gang of ninjas, see something like that?" he asked the guard shook his head "Yeah in fact we have" he went over to one of the computers and bought up a video of two ninja running out of a building with something. They went to what seemed to be another building. Oren stared on "Wait, that building they went into wasn't around here" he said. "Wasn't a building" The guard said as the camera zoomed out showing a giant ship with tenticles taking off from the area "Holy shit, thats the dreadnaught? That thing is huge!" He said "Yeah based on this video we've determined its just about 2 kilometers long..." the guard said. "Anything else you can tell me" Oren asked "Yeah when it landed, it made this really loud noise, sounded like 1000 horns going off at once. Thats about all I know" The guard replied. "Thanks for the info, think I can take a copy of this video?" Oren asked the guard nodded. Oren left the room and went to the bar to meet up with Elisa, once there he sat down and started analyzing the data. He looked up "Vodka and coke please" he asked the bar tender she nodded and made his drink. He started to drink it when he heard Elisa "No problem, I just finished up about 10 minutes ago" he responded. He slid her the data pad with a video of the dreadnaught "Ever see a ship like that before? Guard said they think its around 2 kilometers long...things a fuckin monster" he said to her. |

Elisa looked at the video and when she got a good shot of the ship she just sunk into her seat. "That is the same class of ship as Sovereign. It was a ship created by a race of synthetics called Geth or so the council claimed. It was the most powerful ship in our galaxy. The entire fleet protecting our seat of government was almost no match for. The rumors is that it was in fact an ship dated back much older and also had mind altering effects for those that traveled on it, but those rumors were never confirmed." She said as the waitress arrived with her hot chocolate she wrapped her hands around the cup and took a sip. She set the cup down. "I hope we are getting paid a lot, because if that is a Sovereign class ship means we are gambling with our lives and the odds are in the houses favor." She said. "However if we are still going to do this, the word around the tables is that Shredder guy is running with some other crazies much like him and they had abducted several entire villages up north. No one knows why they took the villagers but it may be a place to look for other clues." She said taking a drink of her hot chocolate. "We could take my new ship." She added with a smile behind her cup. |

Oren listened to what Elisa had to say about the ship, "Well" he started to say as the waitress bought him another drink. He took the shot and set it down "Sounds like impossible odds for sure" he smirked at her "I like impossible" he cracked his neck, when she asked about the pay he laughed, he must have neglatic to mention it "250 million seems high enough for you? Or would you rather I employ some negotiating skills to get it raised?" he asked her jokingly, she seemed upset after seeing the ship so he was trying to cheer her up. "Well I wouldn't worry too much about being a match for it, you said it yourself this place has tech even you've never seen. There's a good chance there's something that could beat that thing here, we'll just have to find it" he said putting some change on the counter and standing up. "North? Sounds like a plan he said starting to walk away he then stopped. "Your new ship?" he asked her confused he walked back over to her and leaned on the bar starring at her. "You won a ship?" he asked "See, with our combined luck we'll definetely win at this..." he joked. |

Elisa looked at Drake when he asked if she was not happy about the money. She smiled slightly. "Didn't I already tell you, I am in this for the adventure. The money is just a bonus." Elisa said before finishing her chocolate. It was true she did not care about the money all that much, the portal between her own universe and this was secure, and she could return anytime if she ran out of funds. It was an advantage of living a thousand years, most investments which she started a two hundred years have already began to show great returns. After reassuring her that they would find a way, he shockingly remarked about her winning the ship. "Ya, four ladies with an escort. Excellent hand." She said. She then stood up and headed towards the door with Drake. She was still a little uneasy about taking on this sovereign class ship as she had lost two friends that had served on the Lilith with her during the Battle of the Citadel. Elisa however tried to keep these thoughts at the back of her mind as she lead Drake out of the casino and toward the landing pad with the ship. As she approached she looked at it and the first thing to come out of her mouth was. "It is another museum piece." She said to herself but it was loud enough for Drake to hear. She wondered what the inside would be like. Elisa walked up and open the loading bay. She looked inside of it and smiled. It was rather large, at lease large enough to hold the Renegade. "Well it looks like we will have plenty of space, and won't have to worry about hotel bills again." She said as she walked around. |

Oren smirked when she said it wasn't about the money "So, you'd rather I give you your half in chocolate then?" he questioned her. When she mentioned the hand she had won the ship with Oren nodded in approval "Very nice, I be tthe poor sucker you got that from didn't know what the fuck hit him. Probably to distracted starring at your chest" he joked and winked at her. He was trying to get her to lighten up as she still seemed on edge about the whole soverign class ship thing. Oren had never faced one but obviously she had. Only thing was if they were going to pull this off doubt was something both of them could do without. He followed her out to the ship yard to see what she had won. He laughed when she said it was a meseum peice and threw his arm around her "No, its a fixer uper. Just think of all the potential thingies and gadgets you could add on to this to make it something you created yourself. Just not another run of the mill ship you could have bought" he said before letting her go and following her inside. The thing was a beaut, well atleast it was to Oren, he was wondering what exactly Elisa had to be thinking about her new ship. "It is very nice" he said to her when she mentioned not needing to pay hotel bills he smirked turning to her "Why Ms. Elisa are you asking me to move in with you? I...I dunno this is all too sudden, I mean we've only been on one job together" he joked with her. |

Elisa looked over at Drake when he was joking around about him 'moving in'. She shook her head slightly. "I did not ask you to join me in my bed... Then again..." She said jokingly as she continued along. "Really I will need your help though if I could get it. This technology is so old that I am not sure I even know how to work on it." She said as they walked through the ship. This was especially true about the engine room. She was so use to mass effect cores she couldn't even tell what all the parts of the engine were. "I hope their is an owners manual." She said to Drake looking at the spinning engine. She did love the flow of the ship and even more so the communal space. She could see hanging out in the common area, maybe getting a projector to watch movies on and some speakers for music. "I can see potential at lease." She said as they made their way to the rooms. They felt like pits, very closed off from one another, but one did not live in ones cabin, that were just to sleep their, or that was the Asari opinion. Eventually they made their way to the cockpit and Elisa sat down in the right hand seat. She looked at the controls. They were fairly basic; engine, power distribution, sensors. She figured she could fly the ship decently until she learned the finer points. "I think I shall call you Kurinth." She said naming the ship as she set there. "So know you see the luxary you could be living in, still thinking it is to soon to move in." She said activating the main engine and powering up the entire ship. Elisa herself was already thinking of modifications to do, the storage room of the kitchen would make an excellent armory while a few of the passanger dorms could be made into holding cells should she and Oron go into the bounty hunting business. She also wanted to et her hands on some of the other rare technology that has trickled into crossroads from other universe, but it would take time before they could do that, maybe after this big score they were working on. |
