\dev_hdd0\disc\BLES01228 - DMC HD Collection\PS3_GAME\USRDIR\AFS\SOUND *** files go here *** (should also work for JPN or USA versions of DMC HD... probably fine with the PC Version too)

all files were kept as full uppercase (including extention) because actual PS3's seem to be Case sensitive... RPCS3 (PS3 Emulator) isn't when used on Windows... PS: DMC HD is officially In-Game status for RPCS3, DMC1 + DMC2 are 100% playable... whereas DMC3's Mission 5 seems to have a bug regarding a sound effect on an item you have to pick up to finish the mission... so Decrypted Saves so as to skip Mission 5 help there...

my soundtrack has Fade In + Out on all the tracks i replaced, the music is better IMO... also instead of the BGM volume being set in the game engine, they lowered the gain/volume on the files themselves, so my music will be louder as well as higher quality despite using a smaller bit-rate...

Having the soundtrack playing louder in-game without being able to lower it sounds like a disadvantage.
A combo a day keeps the B rank away!

having the soundtrack a bit louder actually seem good to me, most of it originally just seemed like background noise before... and any music recording is usually meant to be done as close to Clipping as possible to get the best quality out of it, that wasn't the case at all...
sounded a bit like the neighbors had a garage-band, whereas now it's much better imo... also i can confirm the New Steam 2018 re-release is still letting us access the same folder with these .ogg files and i've just tested them in-game... all good...
now i just need to find DS3/DS4 Buttons Mod, as i hate seeing Xbox button Icons in-game...

BTW just to clarify it's not Louder... the sound effects are at max volume, now the music isn't -7DB lower anymore... they actual match moreso... and this is the case with any OST Mods made for this one, no BGM volume setting in-game...

Dante saying "Blast Off" for eg, is a little less annoying now... i'd love to mod the sound effect files too + the few remaining OST tracks ...
