Alright, I spent some time restoring higher quality textures from cutscenes for the in-game models. Here's A&R, Nevan, E&I & Kalina Ann. I've also included an alternate pac for E&I that uses the cutscene models (see screenshots for comparison shots).

You may say this is a weird pack, where's the rest of the weapons? Well, Cerberus' cutscene texturemap is identical in resolution and mapping, then Beowulf's weapon model in cutscenes has the textures split into 2 texmaps, so this will require some testing to get it to work right. As for Rebellion, Shotgun etc, well either the texturemaps are identical as well, or they don't exist (Shotgun, Artemis and Spiral are never used in a cutscene).

When it came to improving Rebellion I intended to use the DMC4 textures but the damn model is so lowpoly the "better" textures look like shit, since they were drawn with a much higher poly model in mind. At any case, Rebellion is a truly horrid weapon so for now I'm not doing anything with it, I have no idea how I'm going to make it "high quality" when it's such a terrible weapon design to begin with...

Anyway, I did Yamato next! While it does have a cutscene texturemap and it is slightly higher quality, it wasn't a huge improvement.
So I went through with it and completely replaced everything with the DMC4 textures!

With Style Switcher mod installed, extract files to the game's rom folder.

What next? I'll try to make Beowulf's textures better... somehow. I've also taken a good look at the textures for Artemis and Spiral, I don't even know where to begin to edit them but we'll see if I can do anything nice with them.
