You are a lifesaver I finally got it to work. Thank you for your help. Edit: The only problem i need to fix now is that movement thing with the game. (The menu selection and my character runs in one place non-stop) Edited by AntiClimax, May 19 2015, 08:09 AM.

That's strange. You can look at vJoy Monitor and see what it's up to, I know if a vJoy device is acting up, DMC4 will still pick up on those inputs like a regular game pad. |

Idk whats causing but im pretty sure its coming from the vJoy. Edit: Whenever i start up the vJoy monitor all the number pop up from a straight line downward and continue on from there. Edited by AntiClimax, May 19 2015, 08:36 AM.

Those numbers are button I.D's. If vJoy is acting up, you want to look at the bars on the top left or the POVs. The one instance I had vJoy screw around was when it constantly turned the camera in Dark Souls or kept flipping through menu options in DMC3, which plainly it stopped when I disabled and re-enabled the driver in Device Manager. |

Ok so i looked at the Monitor and i dont see the bars and as for the POVs the seem to be in the same position (which is the middle of the circle). The thing is if i stop vJoy from moving all crazy like I said then it wont load the Debug menu. Edit: Ok so i decided to do this, Activate the debug and add the "cheats" i want and disable the vJoy (Which also disables the Debug menu) and continue on from there. I appreciate what you did to help but ima just keep load the debug like this till i get a New PS4/PS3 controller for my PC. Edited by AntiClimax, May 19 2015, 08:36 PM.

Hey Got some problems with actually opening the debugging menu itself. So everything works smoothly, my CMD shows me that it's waiting for DMC, i load up DMC and when i get to bloody palace Ctrl+F2 doesn't open the menu up. |

Possible scenarios: - You're not actually launching a debug mode executable. You can easily check this with CTRL + F1, and seeing if SysMenu pops up. - Program isn't attaching itself to DMC4. Whether or not it's attached is indicated by "Found DMC4!"- "Waiting for DMC4" indicates it's still looking for DMC4 and is not actively sending inputs. This is most likely a difference in names between the instance of DMC4 you have, and whatever name that is supplied. - Unlikely, but vJoy screwing up. If the program is actually attached to DMC4, use vJoy Monitor to see if the corresponding inputs for opening Debug Menu are actually being sent. |

1. I've tried pressing Ctrl + F1, yes the system menu comes up. Just the Debug mode wont open when i press Ctrl + F2 2. So i made a shortcut from my original gamefile to my debug folder, but where would be the name supplied ? Like where would i find that name to check whether what i'm opening up is the same as the one im supplying 3. On Vjoy, i've configured it to 8 keys and 4 directions which makes the cmd show that the Vjoy is detected, but dont i need to configure any keys like, Ctrl + F2 would be a specific key or two. Where would i do this? The monitor doesn't really do anything. 4. When i type in the DMC4_KEY2DEBUG-2.exe, i dont type the "< myconfig.txt" and it still works? (As in loading the rest of the information in) But when i do type that in it just says "The system cannot find the file specified", i've renamed the text file to myconfig.txt. So im not sure - These are pretty much all the queries i got at the moment. - Hope you can help, Thanks! |
