Show dante's head when devil trigger

Dante's devil body has not an additional head, it means if we replace pl009.mod with another one's body model, the head cannot be shown in game. This is not good when we want to use a character replacing MOD.
After disassembling, I found that Dante' body can be added 3 (human mode: head, hair and coat) or 1 (demon mode: wings) attachments. I also found an imperfect way to force the demon mode to have 3 attachments, too, as follow (both for DX9):

Modify EXE:
Address 3b4fbd: 40 to 00, 3b515a: 80 to 00
Modify Memary when running:
Address 7b4fbd: 40 to 00, 7b515a: 80 to 00

The modifications can let the demon body also have head and hair (and coat if you like, but wings will be lost).

But this is not perfect now, sometimes the head cannot be joint exactly after devil trigger. I am looking forward to that someone can find a better way.

And a demo, white & black Kyrie, after devil trigger the body has been changed and the head and hairs are kept.

Most epic model swap discovery ever? Also, why limit to the DT and 3 nodes. Can't we force the game to add nodes to other stuff (like enemies, etc) or the characters themselves? Like add that accessory node from the prologue scene for Nero and have him wear headphones... Or even swap them for Lady's sunglasses?

At the beginning, I want to use a human model to replace Dante's devil body, this is not good because of the lack of head. So I tried to find a way to add a head onto the devil body, it might be useful in character replacing MOD.

It seems that the headphones and sunglasses cannot be load rightly, the reason might be the motion is not suitable.
But I guess this problem could be solved via disassembling? not sure that.

it seems that you are using the original exe file. The modified file is here:

this is not perfect, sometimes the head may lose when DT. If it happens, entering a door or DT again may call the head back...
please remind me if it does not work.

You need not prepare demon's head and hair, the process will use human's head and hair.
In fact, now I have no idea how to use other head and hair.
