Hey guys I bought DMC3 for my PC and it won't run. I'm on Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. I watched someone else play the game and he is running the same version of windows 7 that I am, and it runs perfectly. His PC is also an Alienware PC mine is an HP btw.

Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

Well... Are you sure that's the problem with OS? I have Vista Home Premium 32-bit and it works good.
Once, I saw a short movie showing some graphic bugs. Guy who recorded it had Win Vista Basic and his graphic card was GeForce 7300 (I have GeForce 130M). After I watched it, I realised that GF7300 can make some problems with graphic in DMC 3 (and not only this one, for example DMC 4 doesn't run on that card).

So your problem can be compared with your hardware, not software.
But, to be sure that it's only hardware problem - look for some viruses on your H.D.D. (scan it using some anti-virus programs like Avira). They can be the reason of your problem.

And try to re-install the game. Also: download the newest graphic/sound card drivers.

Well I tried all that and nothing worked for :(
My graphics card is an
amd m88og with ati mobility radeon hd 4250

would that have anything to do with it not working? I'm not sure if that card is good or not.

It would be nice if you said more about the problem so we can better diagnose it.

That graphic card should be supported, but - as omni said - wo don't know enough to say what's the true problem.

@Ylthin: my old card are 7200se/7300gs (i couldn't even understand its name) maybe you're right about that card, lol suck...

@Kanoleon: Are your card integrated? (not really know about ati's)
or maybe your card has compatibility issues?
You should search game compatibility list too.

I'm not very good with PCs so I'm not sure what else to say about the problem..

@Cissney123 yeah the card is integrated

So that's probably the problem: most of the games doesn't support graphic cards integrated with motherboards. They can run on PC with that card - but with a lot of problems.
