Whats the point of your post, Tizza? I really don't get why everyone is so eager to say who they voted for. In ps-garage (a forum I joined 4 years ago to learn about photoshop) we used to have competitions all the time (think every day). Through the years we learned that some people are lead by what's in the comments. For example: Someone sees that his idol has voted for person X, he himself likes person Y's entry, but votes for person X due to intense fandom. Or the same thing just replace 'his idol' with 'a couple of people' and 'fandom' with 'issues with fitting in' So the admins made sure no one commented about voting. Though another unfair advantage surfaced. Some people would tell themselves... -- hmm I like entry X, but entry Y is also kinda good. *checks votes* OOOH. Poor entry Y it has only 1 vote, while entry X has 5. I better vote for Y so that it can catch up! -- This is the wrong way to view things. Just because you feel sorry for an entry doesn't mean you have to waste your vote on that. So the admins hid the votes. Now it is as fair as it can be. (without hiding usernames) I'm not saying that its like that here, but please to keep this as fair as possible don't say who you voted for. Keep it for the winner announcement day. ![]() PS: We could never get rid of the friend vote, though. Most unfair advantage someone could have in a forum: X likes Y entry, but Z is his friend's entry. So he votes for Z out of friendliness. Not fair at all. Be the better person. Don't do that. @RazoR I guess they say for whom they voted, to give satisfaction to his idol. (I do not think that way) I totally agree with RazoR. Edited by ZeroXeM, Jan 17 2011, 10:56 PM.

Sorry it's just that in a previous poll, in another forum, a post was required to confirm the votes and prevent someone "cheats". I apologize for the misunderstanding. |

@Tizza: Don't worry, dude. We got it. And I don't really think that whole thing was just for you. It's for everyone. @xerod: Thanks, dude! I'm glad you like my entry. I'm sorry I didn't have the time to show more and better gameplay, though. @RazoR: Fully agreed, bro. @IamVergil: If you're absolutely sure you won't vote at all just click "Vote for None" and the results will show up. Though, I believe that you won't be able to vote anymore. Edited by LucasRaven, Jan 17 2011, 10:46 PM.

This is why I never gave any feedback for any entry that I liked other than 'nice entry' throughout the entire contest since it began, I feel others should see things the way they see them and not try to see it the way another saw it. The only time I gave feedback was when I was unsure about the persons entry counting. But I believe that each form of feedback or action others take toward an entry will set motion into other peoples choices like RazoR said ^^ I don't think I'll be voting for a dmc4 winner, there are so many videos and my internet probably wouldn't like it. It's already at quarter of the monthly usage and only been 3-4days since it reset. |

He said please don't post who you voted for because others might decide to vote for them just because you did. Then he gave lots of examples of how his old forum had contests often and had voting problems as well so they had to make it strict to the point that the only thing they couldn't prevent was friends voting for their friends, which he looks down upon also. When he referred to X,Y and Z he means different people like one person, another person and a third person. Saying X thought Y was best but voted Z because he saw Y had more votes is the same as saying a person liked the other persons entry but felt sorry for a third person who had less votes and voted them instead. |

CLICK ME
I would like to vote for myself. But there are two problems: 1.) This will be a little unfair. 2.) It would be very strange to see that for all my video was given only 1 vote... :D But I think there is no way out, so... T_T |
