Cdiddy's works from RE modding forum create for re4 work with dmc3, anyway thanks to this guy for skipping blank screen tips "if the screen goes blank, It's simple. Black screen with sound - it's FMV cutscenes, They always work this way with this mod, I don't know why. When Ubisoft logo FMV sound ends, press ESC and then Alt+Enter twice. You have to do that every time FMV plays." Download Youtube Screenshot:

I wonder if we can fix the problem with the fmvs. Maybe we could make a high-res fmv pack while we're at it. |

d3d9.dll and fakehdr.fx, effect setting is stored on fakehdr.fx hex editor can read that file, maybe it could solve the problem if we edit some effect? like set bloom to off? |

I've open fake.fx with notepad++ and look for this //Use these to modify the behaviour of the shader static const float BloomScale = 0.60; static const float HDRScale = -1.5; static const float HDRAdjust = 0.32; and change them to this //Use these to modify the behaviour of the shader static const float BloomScale = 0.40; static const float HDRScale = -1.30; static const float HDRAdjust = 0.70; the end result ![]() and without ![]() seems those values are the most important when it comes to adjusting. Now dmc3 looks better without that grey layer, but not too saturated/brigth like default fake.fx |

Aww, thanks! After I spent whole day tryin' to get out why my hexed ARC file doesn't work, I decided to hex files as rare as it possible - I just don't wanna f*ck anythin' again. |
