Hi All, I have been asked to machine machine a 3D backdrop of a cityscape and wonder if anyone can offer advice. I have imported into Vcarve as an STL file. It was originally a STEP file and I converted it. My main concern is the depth of machining and the time it will take.My Zaxis will easily allow the model to fit underneath so I suppose ot could be possible to do the full model but I am not sure due to tooling requiremnents. All in all it seems a rather trick project and wonder if Vcarve PRo is the right software. The material will be model board or dense foam. Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks I didn't find the right solution from the internet. References: http://forum.vectric.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=24939 Video Advertising Examples |
