[Ether Laser 1] 4 Damage, 3 Second Duration, Instant Cast, Active Arinth draws energy from the formless ether swirling around her constantly, and uses it for all of her abilities. With this skill, she manifests it directly as a beam of tightly focused energy and launches it an opponent in the blink of an eye. The beam can be kept up at full power for only a few seconds before the ether around her is depleted enough to require a recharge. Energy rapidly rushes into to fill the space recently occupied, being attracted to the red-haired Architect by the maelstrom of power within her, so the power can be used regularly. {+1 damage per odd level, +1 second duration per even level} [Prismatic Missile 1] 8 Beams, 0.5 Damage Per Projectile, Active Arinth builds up a significant charge in a small seal, then unleashes the charge within in the form of a flurry of thin beams of light that travel upwards and outwards from the point of origin. From there, Arinth subconsciously alters the wavelength of the beams as needed to force them to alter their course completely, granting them a limited homing effect as they come lancing down into the target from every angle and direction. Prismatic Missile is capable of reflected by crystals, but loses much of its homing capacity as the crystals interfere with Arinth's subconscious tweaks. +1 damage per odd level, +1 beam per even level [Unleash 1] +4 Imagination, Active Arinth enters a heightened state of light meditation, drowning out everything on the battlefield except her own thoughts and her connection to the ether around her. Her mind unfettered by trivial concerns, she is free to focus on more important concerns, which is a really fancy way of saying "she blows shit up better." +1 Imagination per level [Arcane Power] +4 Imagination, Passive The energy that constantly swirls around Arinth provides a mental clarity most could only dream of, granting her yet more power. +1 Imagination per level [Upheaval] 2 Crystals base, 2 crystals per 10 Imagination, Active Arinth pours energy into the earth, using its immense power to create and rapidly grow crystals. Two to five seconds after use, gargantuan crystal formations erupt from the ground wherever she wills. Crystals can also be created in the air, but the brilliant cloud of swirling energy easily marks the creation, ruining any chance of a surprise attack to a wary opponent. The crystals would theoretically do very high damage to anyone stupid enough to wait for one to pop up under them, but the long germination time means that a wary opponent will feel the ground directly beneath them shaking and assumedly move away from the impact area. Once created, the crystal formations, which tend to manifest as jumbled masses of spikes, vary from ten to thirty feet high depending on how long they germinated, and can span horizontally a good twenty feet. The crystals themselves are inert, and formations will stay erect until destroyed. Crystals can reflect energy from certain of Arinth's attacks, most notably Prismatic Missile, but homing abilities are generally dampened or lost. They can also be used as obstacles, but are oddly fragile and will quickly give way to a concentrated assault. This skill does not level up [Shatter] 1 Damage per Shard, Instant Cast, Active With a thought, every crystal formation on the field instantly detonates in a hail of razor-sharp crystal shards. Damage done is directly related to how close the opponent is to a crystal, since what begins as a dense storm of projectiles quickly turns into a dispersed cloud within fifty feet. Arinth is capable of only detonating specific crystals or groups thereof. This skill does not level up |
