Doesn't play well with others

Holy crap, I need to change Heero's course schedule and take that amazing wine-tasting class! Treize is going to be the best professor ever. |

Wow. I was having a horrible day until I logged on and saw Treize's post. Thanks, E. ^___^ I needed that. |

Yayz! So glad I could I cheer you up a little. I've been googling for stuff about Corgi seizures ever since you said Dexter had one, and epilepsy seems to be a common ailment among Corgies from what I've read. Maybe your vet can give you something to control it? In any case, a lot of people online seem to have corgis who have it, but apparently it doesn't seem to detract from their dog's happiness to any great extent. Maybe he can live a good, long, otherwise healthy life with it? It's still a terrible shame, of course, but Dexter's such an awesome dog he'll probably adjust to it all right if it turns out to be a permanent condition. What did the vet say? *pets and pets* |

HOLY HAMBURGERS BATMAN! Is Trieze teaching Duo's Explosives Lab too??? Cause if that's the case, I cordially invite Trieze to pop on over to Day 2 and allow Doodles to cause some mayhem in his class.

I did the same googling when I got home. I will have to check his papers (since he is AKC registered) and see if he has any links to epilepsy. He has never acted like that before, as far as I have seen. He is only 7 months old though, and honestly this week was a rough week for the little guy. My boyfriend went out of town for Thanksgiving with his parents so Dex and I stayed over at their house to watch their dogs as well. He was in their yard- and maybe he came in contact with something toxic? I don't know much about their yard or their house. He also didn't sleep well, was hyped the whole time and wrestled their Shihtzu 24 hours straight. Yesterday was his first NORMAL day with us, maybe the changes triggered it? He didn't have a Grand Mal seizure though, so that is good. We went for a walk and when we got in the house his back legs were weak and he was drooling really bad. He couldn't stand up, his head was wobbling and then he laid down for a minute and just stared into space. I have seen this with humans before, and I had suspicions about it being a seizure but we took him to the emergency vet anyway to verify. They said he didn't have any abnormal blood test results and there were no notable imbalances to have triggered it. :( It could have been a one time thing, or maybe he got into something poisonous and I didn't notice. Hopefully it doesn't happen again, but if it does we will have to look into the epilepsy route. Either way he is perfectly fine now, though my pocketbook took a beating. Why can't pets have issues during the week day on business hours? lol Thanks for the concern, though. ^__^ You're so awesome! *huggles E* |

/squeals!!! Okay, okay. Gonna get rid of Treize for now, but his most excellent layout will be available on the drop menu from now on. *nods* Also- OMIGAWD WU FEI! ^___^ He is delightfully cute. And he is gonna be in Zechs' class, how sweet! ^-^;;; He totally changed his major to be in Milliardo's presence, not because he craves revenge... |
