There's Dog shows and dog shows, some being very different than others; as we've one coming up next weekend, let's elaborate a little on how it differs from others. With conformation classes being on the agenda, that's based on an exhibit's overall appearances and attitude; our judges will prefer a neat, very fit and statuesque outline more than an unfit or indifferent attitude .. happy and healthy is the keyword in that department. In puppy classes, the same criteria applies, accepting a lack of discipline due to being younger and, perhaps, less firmly trained for such events ... puppy's will be puppy's, after all . In the Puppy Parade, a-frame and 'Fun-Run' lure-racing events, we expect some real fun and games !! Youngsters and adults should be better prepared ... In the Action Departments - weight-pulling, a-frame, lure-racing, etc, - we expect entries being brought in FIT & READY, competing against the CREAM OF THE CROP, they'll need to be 'fit & ready', indeed ! ... ESPECIALLY IN THE STAFFORD TRIATHLON SHOOT-OUT !!! For the hard-core fit for purpose 'fraternity', this is a 'must see' FIRST TIME MATCHING, it's believed that no fitter Staffords will be found anywhere else on that day ... it's got to be seen to be believed ! Our Spring show this year was considered a HELLUVA SUCESS .. we think this one will be as well, and with the ACES team on the scene yet again, what more can we ask for, helping to keep the ball rolling along, faster and faster ! ... and somewhat different from others ... Judging by the feed-back on our Sept. 6th Show at The ACES Field, it's safe to say 'THAT'S THE WAY TO GO' for our future Shows; elements of variety makes the difference, added to our standard activities, 'fun & games for the dogs, kids, and family' altogether, suits the majority. The numerous photos displayed herein speak volumes; covering the events from start to finish, was anyone left out ? With more to follow about forthcoming events .. the people .. the dogs .. the innovations being considered .. will add to elements of 'SERENDIPITY'; for all concerned, meaning "a knack of stumbling upon interesting discoveries in a casual manner"; coined by Horace Walpole's fairytale characters, "The Three Princes of Serendip." ...
