Just a normal conversation

Well, up till now in Hystaene, it's been 100% RP. Let's have something different.

In forums, there are topics, and the posts have to be on topic. This system works, but it isn't conducive to having an actual conversation like in real life, you know, just talking with yur buddies. I think that since all of us here are friends and there's not that many of us, we can have a realistic conversation, just like we would if all of us were sitting in the same room together. So, somebody start a conversation, and let's all just hang out together.

Wow never would have expected that from you. I think the main reason we do RPing here is because normal conversation's don't really mix. I mean I can't use your real name unless everyone knows it. and I am not sure if everyone is going to reveal their name. That would be the only way we could have a 'normal' conversation Inferno.

Oh, we don't need real names, our online names are fine. I just figure maybe we can just talk.

Why not, I don't have anything against it.

But, please note, I'm not a native English speaker/typer, so a few of my words and sentences might seem a bit odd at times.

But I'm sure you all knew that.

I've already said my name (which I preferred to be called by), and I know Bobmaster's (which I sometimes mess up and say here). And since most people have their names in their Escapist profiles anyway, I don't see what's wrong with using them.

It's Kyle, by the way.

My name is Rémy, but please don't bother with the acute accent ( ´ ), I rarely do so myself.

I would if I could figure out why the listed Alt-### combinations for such symbols aren't working right on my computer. When I enter them, the right ones never appear.

I'm Randall, how is everybody.

And there are no accents in my name, just in my voice as I'm a Southerner.

... A valid point.

Just wondering, what education do people here have? In Norway you'll have trouble getting a job as long as your field of study isn't related to oil, fishing, or infrastructure (Building & power companies).

Jobs like that are somewhat hard to get here too, the only expanding job market is within higher eduction in the aforementioned fields, (Except fishing, but who wants to spend a month in a metal tub in the north sea, then have two weeks off? Rinse repeat...)

I just did a bunch of pen and paper applications and got mine on luck of the draw. But they were all fast food joints

But why didn't you accept, then go job hunting while working there? Could have earned you some more dough, and it counts a lot on interviews that you're currently engaged in some work, be it fast food or *shudders* tech support.

Ah, that explains...

But you're still hunting for another job as well, right?

Or is that a no go in the American job market?

Thing is Shoimi, you've been at it for almost a year, me, less than a month, which is less time than it took me to get a job in Iowa.

tell ya what, let's talk about sex.

If you don't want to, it's fine, but I never tire of remeniscing about past sexual adventures. And no, Shoimi, I won't talk about her, for your sake. I know you still want her, I won't do that to you.

We can talk about the hot Mexican hooker I got for free. Twice!

Sorry I'm late to the party. My name is Tim, by the way. I'm "in the market" as far as jobs go (this economy is making job hunting rather difficult...). I have some college education, but due to low grades, I'm taking a semester break and starting fresh. As far as sex goes...20 year old virgin, so I wouldn't know.
