Name: Blaine Wrighte Age: 16-ish Height: 5'11" Race: Terminan Description/picture:  Personality: Secluded, withdrawn and not very talkative, for the most part. However, he also is very helpful when he wants to be, though his help generally tends to be in the form of a bit of cryptic advice. He also has the tendency to test people's combat abilities. History: Blaine was born into the family of a fairly successful inventor and sorcerer, Thomas Wrighte. He hardly knows his mother, since she left after his younger siblings, Stone and Elayne, were born. Being the firstborn, his father taught him the magical secrets which he had learned, of being able to focus magical energy into a form of attack with no elemental affiliation. However, when he was five, Blaine was kidnapped by Thomas' rival, Albert Hrate. Brainwashed by Hrate, Blaine is forced to do his bidding, mostly in sabotaging the findings of Wrighte. However, during one of the midnight 'raids' on Wrighte's house, when he was 10, he was discovered by his brother Stone and was debrainwashed by Wrighte. He decided that he couldn't stay at home because he thought he would endanger his family, since he knew secrets that only Hrate knew and would rather keep secret. Weapons Nothing, really. Special Abilities Energy Blast: A weak blast which is caused by focusing on creating the energy. Requires minimal focus, but does minimal damage. If he focuses for longer, he can create a more powerful blast. Ability copy: If he can get up close enough to an enemy, he can copy a weaker special ability his foe can use. Felling the enemy in combat, he can copy a more powerful ability. Dash: He can quickly propel himself several feet forward at a fairly high speed. However, he has less control over his movements and cannot focus enough to fire an energy blast. He can dash when holding his shield in front of him. Items: Blaine Shield: A large shield, covers the entire top part of his body and most of the lower part. However, he has to expose himself in able to attack. Whistle: A whistle on which Blaine uses to play a hypnotic tune which draws the attention of anyone in the area. The hypnosis effects last about a fraction of a second after being played. He tends to use it to announce his entrance as well. Shades and a scarf: They make him look cool...that's it. RP Sample: POW! Down goes one target. POW! Down goes another, and then a third. Focusing on the remaining three targets, all lined up one behind the other, he focused for longer than he did for the solitary targets. Unleashing a blast three times as powerful as the previous two, it tore through the three targets before the blast of pure energy dissipated. Adjusting the scarf wrapped around his neck, he walked off towards the fence that marked the end of Thomas Wrighte's property. Glancing back for only a moment before turning away, Blaine walked off. "Goodbye, dad, Stone, Elayne." Thinking about his family, he glanced down as he thought about his younger brother and sister, sleeping in bed, and his dad, probably studying some arcane texts.
