Name: Emen the Trader Age: ??? Height: 4'8 Race: Hylian? Kokiri? Description/picture:  Personality: Eccentric, sneaky, and maybe sometimes greedy. He is 'mostly' an honest buisnessman. Emen would be willing to supply anyone and almost everyone. History: The origin of Emen is nearly a blank. Speculation of his size and his intelligence would first say that he was a Kokiri, except he has no guardian fairy and doesn't seem to act the same as one of the forest folk. Other studies suggest he could actually be a Hylian, thought why he stopped aging at the age of 10 and talk and act like an adult is a mystery. People also question Emen's prowess as a decent magic user, certain spells that actually take years to master and use. Emen the Trader was actually a Hylian. Now he's cursed to remain the same age across time. The bright side is that this technically gives him immortality, in theory. The downside is that not many people took a kid seriously. The curse itself was done by a jackass wizard, he doesn't like to reveal the details. In order to get the reputation of being one to take seriously, he decided to help out in Hyrule Castle Town, doing 'odd' jobs and the like. This included illegal activities, but the thing was, no one expected a kid to be involved in crime. It was mainly just smuggling anyways, and he helped out a man who ran a 'legitimate' shop. This 'legitimate' buisnessman was caught after a year of him and Emen working together, and he simply stepped away, hid away, and watched the town guard carry him away. Emen decided to take control of the 'legal' supplies and sell them to people who were actually willing to do buisness with him. Over time, people began to talk about the boy who had an unusual amount of 'normal' goods to trade. Not wanting to have the same fate as his old partner, Emen buried the rest of the hot goods, not caring if someone else found them or not. He then decided upon getting a new trade. Among the items the old trader had were masks. Emen decided on taking these masks and make use of them. So, Emen has taken up the task of selling masks throughout Hyrule, along with trading any other supplies he still possesses, the legal ones. He travels around the world, looking out for anything of interest to him, or his thirst for rupees. Weapons Steel Battle Staff: Used for self defense in those situations where he's backed in a corner. Emen really knows how to use it. Special Abilities Relocation: A good buisnessman needs a good method of travel. This is one of the best ways, not being required to purchase any ride; teleportation. It has a two day use, teleporting at any distance as long as he can see his destination. He can travel from Castle Town's bridge to Kakariko, but not from Hyrule Field into the Lost Woods. May seem a bit restricted, but Emen doesn't have to pay anything. That's all he really cared about. Mezmerize:A spell that Emen uses mainly to escape, as it only stuns a normal enemy for three seconds, though it can effect groups of enemies as well. Chaos Orb: Magic like this took awhile to master. Emen had more than 'awhile' to master it. He can create balls of volatile orange magical energy and fire them at a target. It may not hurt that much, but the aftershock is a bitch. He uses these in place of arrows. Items: Adult Wallet: Holds 200 Rupees Trade Manifest: All of his transactions are written down in this notebook. Bag of Goodies: Emen almost has to drag his items around. He makes sure to travel light, yet still carry good supplies. RP Sample: Second Character. Edited by Lokken, May 26 2008, 04:20 AM.
