The Takari brothers are a group of ancient warriors, turned into stone statues long ago by an evil power. They are extremely powerful, but usually work for the greater good.

The Eldest

Name: Hiro Takari
Age: 30-something + a few hundred years
Height: 6"7'
Race: Hylian, Takari Clan
Description/picture:

Posted Image

Personality: Hiro is cold hearted, showing little to no emotion whatsoever.

History: Hiro was raised as the perfect swordsman, flawless in his techniques and unaffected by emotions. His Seilven Blade is actually the very first legendary sword (instead of the Fission Sword) that the Takari clan owned and passed down. During the final battle of the Takari village, Hiro protected his brother Mator as his parents were burned alive. Hiro took a different root from the rest, going north and ending up in Hyrule Castle, where he was captured and tried for quote "trespassing and attempted royal assassination." He escaped, killing several guards, and fled the city in the shadows. His actions since then have been a mystery, though he was once seen in the graveyard entering the Shadow Temple, and later in the Fire Temple. He is a formidable foe that should not be approached lightly.

Several years after he was last seen, Hiro reappeared to fight a powerful force. He dealt one final blow to it before it used its dark abilities to turn Hiro to stone. Hiro was placed in the nearly completed Din's Palace. Anyone who goes to see the statue would not see it, but rather an empty pedestal. Somehow, Hiro awoke from his curse, and left.

Weapon

~Seilven Blade~
Description: A double edged sword, 3 and a half feet in length, and 4 inches thick. Its hilt is black and has a high-friction texture, and the base is a brass piece. For the first foot of the blade, it is edgeless and bulky, with magic inscriptions on it. It is extremely heavy, though Hiro wields it like a light weapon.
Weapon Enhancements: It is said to have the ability to bend time and space, but these are unfounded.
History: The Seilven Blade was forged by and for the wife of Razora, the founder of the Takari Clan. Its metal was made of the same as the Master Sword, and it was blessed by an ancient sage before they knew what it would be used for. The soul of Genis, the demon who existed even before the goddesses descended upon Hyrule, cursed the blade, and it was bound to destroy.

The sword has never been lost, but was passed down through the Takari Clan's generations, eventually ending up in the hands of Hiro.

Special Abilities

Razora's Rage: Hiro's and the entire Takari clan's ultimate technique. He channels energy into his right hand, which ignites with white flames that do not burn him or his clothing. He then punches something or merely punches at something. In a wave of golden energy released from his enclosed fist, a serpent dragon forms, translucent, and rips at both the soul and physical form of its target, burning the skin and ripping the flesh.

Fission Defusion: The Takari clan's signature magic, only made possible by his sword. He focuses on his Seilven Blade, it igniting in the same white fire as during Razora's Rage, and he stabs it into the ground. In a straight line that slowly widens, the ground erupts with golden energy that sends opponents flying.

No Restraints: This is what people describe it. Hiro takes off his glove, his iron shoulder plates, his chest armor, and the armor on his boots, along with any other heavy equipment he might have. His speed is awe-inspiring, and he use hand-to-hand fighting only and is more deadly without his sword without his armor.

The Kind-Hearted

Name: Zade Takari
Age: 30-ish + a few hundred years
Height: 6"3'
Race: Hylian, Takari Clan
Description/picture:

Posted Image

Personality: Zade is very proud of his heritage, but is weak when it comes to personal losses. Were it not for Zippo, he would probably have gone insane by now. Now that he has been released from his curse, he searches for answers.
History: Zade Takari was born to family of swordsmen taught in ancient fighting styles, detached from the rest of Hyrule the mountain range that included Death Mountain. Zade was the middle of three brothers. When he was three, his mother gave birth to his younger brother, Mator. The three brothers were close and did nearly everything together. When Zade turned 9, his father began training him as a swordsman. Zade took great pride in being taught the ancient art of swordsmanship. Day after day for two full years, Zade trained, increasing his skills. He had a carefree sense of mind, and the freestyle techniques he used in his sparring were reflected by it. On his 11th birthday, Zade was awarded his very own weapons, ancient treasures of the village. They were of great power and had odd powers. Zade learned the techniques associated with the Blade of One Thousand Waves and the Sword of Din’s Flames, including advanced acrobatics and unarmed fighting techniques. At the age of 13, Zade was given a pair of gauntlets with steel plating. He helped fight off a group of Dodongos that had come down from Death Mountain when he was 14, after which the tailor of the village made him honorary clothing. During all of Zade’s 17th year, a group of strange men in robes came to the village and asked, no, demanded that the entire village join their goal of conquest. Zade’s parents were the ones who were against it the most, holding true to the virtues of their village. Zade was happy, as was his two brothers, until that fateful day, Zade‘s 18th birthday…
The group of robed men attacked the village, and used magic to defeat the many master swordsmen of the village. Zade was in the forest gathering wood for the building of a new house when it happened, but his brother Mator was there. Mator watched as their mother and father were burned alive by the hooded men’s magic. By the time Zade had gotten back, the village was almost completely destroyed. He found Hiro and Mator standing in the middle of the ruins, looking down at the scorched earth. Zade was so disappointed that it could have happened. No words were spoken as the brothers went their separate ways to find their own answers, no matter how it would turn out. With anger and grief clouding his mind, he set off to the land beyond the great mountain that stood above the village.
Zade climbed Death Mountain, and eventually reached a small cove. He searched the cove for any animals he could find, and felt a heated wind coming from a small crack in a wall. He used a secret technique of his swords and made the wall crumble. He was attacked by a baby Dodongo, that had no legs but scurried around with ease. It licked his face like a dog would do, and then climbed in Zade’s sack, to which it does to this day, Zade had found an entrance to Dodongo’s cavern, and the baby Dodongo, who he named Zippo, led him outside onto Death Mountain Trail. Zippo climbed in his sack as Zade went down the trail and stumbled onto a small village called Kakariko.

After being lost in the Lost Woods, a statue of Zade was discovered decades after he was last seen. It was placed in Din's Palace, next to the statues of his brothers, Hiro and Mator. Mysteriously, the three Takaris have been released from their cursed forms, and now roam the land, confused, but still as strong as ever.

Weapons

~Sword of Aether~
Description: A white-bladed katana, three feet long, and 1 1/2 inches wide, it is longer than most katana. It is one of four, the blades made by diffusing the Fission Sword, the evil Razora's accursed blade. The hilt is wrapped by a white serpentine dragon that is made of a rubbery material, which is used as a hand grip.
Weapon Enhancements: The Sword of Aether glows with a brilliant white light, and thus Zade does not use it as much as his other weaponry. When he uses it he puts his right hand on its hilt, then takes it out, slashes, and resheathes it in an instant.
History: The Sword of Aether was made by diffusing the two swords that formed when the Fission Sword was split. It was part of the Eclipse Blade, a large sword that was shaped like a large kitchen knife.

~Sword of Genis~
Description: A black version of the Sword of Aether.
Weapon Enhancements: The Sword of Genis, unlike Zade's other three katana (two of which he gave to his wife when he settled down before he was cursed), has no special augmentations. It was a very fine-crafted blade, though.
History: The Sword of Genis was made by diffusing the two swords that formed when the Fission Sword was split. It was part of the Eclipse Blade, a large sword that was shaped like a large kitchen knife.

Items:

Razoran (first "a" is not long sound) Mask: A mask Zade uses for stealth and covert operations. It has an insignia over the mouth area, two inconspicuous slits for breathing, and for the eyes red slits. It is in the shape of an oval. It has the symbol of his village, a blood red triforce, upside down, with the sides of it curved inward, on the mouth area. The corners come to sharp tips, and the only straight edges of it were that of the inside triangle, and empty space. On the forehead of the mask there is the symbol of Din, also blood red.

~Pet:
Name: Zippo
Race: Dodongo
Age: Unknown, but is a baby dodongo, with no limbs.
Description: Zippo, unlike other baby dodongos, does not explode, but can breathe small amounts of fires. He can purr like a cat, and squeals. His alert cry is loud and obnoxiously high-pitched. He has a small metal plate on the upper left of his faceplate that is decoratively engraved with his name. It is fused to his face.

Hooded cape: Zade has a dark hooded cape, that goes down near his waist, but not past it. The ends of it are frayed and scraggly. It has a hood, as the name says, that has strings that can fasten it.

Steel gauntlets: Zade has gauntlets with 3/8 inch steel plating. He uses them for shields in time of needs.

Modified Postman's Bag: Zade's pack is a modified postman's bag, cut down to only 2 pockets, one of which Zippo sleeps in. It is brown.

Special Abilities Blade Fusion: Zade can fuse his katana into the Eclipse Blade and the Blood Sword, and then after that into the cursed Fission Sword. This causes him to turn into Razora himself. He rarely does this.

The Youngest

Name: Mator Takari
Age: 28-ish, + a few hundred years
Height: 6"1'
Race: Hylian, Takari Clan
Description/picture:

Posted Image

Personality: Mator has been hardened by the death of his parents, which he witnessed himself. He knows how to laugh and have fun, but most of the time he has a cold frown on his face. After fusing his soul with Genis, he now is somewhat less bothered by his faults, and has come to terms with the death of his parents.

After ten years of fighting he has grown strong, both physically and psychologically. He is very serious and is proud, but modest, about his fighting ability, and has far surpassed his brothers in fighting ability.

History: Mator Takari is the youngest of three brothers. He was born to a family of swordmasters, who taught him at a young age everything they knew about the arts. When he was 7, he was given his weapon which was chosen through his unique skills that emerged through training. It was a kris blade, which was far too large for him to use. He trained many times a week, which he still does to this day. When he was 15, on the day of his older brother Zade's birthday, the small village in which they lived was attacked by a group of mages in robes who burned the town to the ground. He was separated from Zade and his eldest brother Hiro during the attack. Both his parents were burned alive fighting the mages. He swore to get revenge on the ones who killed them. He traveled far and wide for 4 years when he came upon a large field. He saw the gem in his glove flash with red light, and he saw it as a sign as his new home.

After battling in the Shadow Temple, the evil spirit within him, Genis, was released. He, along with the assassin Hagoresh and the warrior Michael, he defeated Genis, and fused his then conscious-less, though power-infused, soul with his own, giving him new powers and abilities. Through some rumors spread quickly after the defeat of Genis, he was branded the name "Genisen."

After a decade or two, the minions of a dark power, who had all been gathered 10 years prior for the awakening of their master, banded together and assaulted Castle Town. By that time, Mator had become a highly respected mercenary, but was cursed by a Wizrobe during the battle, turning him to stone. He was placed next to his brothers in Din's Palace, but the stone curse had worn off recently for a mysterious reason.

Weapons

~Blood Kris~
Description: The Blood Kris is a keris or kris blade, a sword whose blade waves to increase damage done by stab wounds. Where the edge meets the rest of the blade is a glowing red trim.
Posted Image
Weapon Enhancements: The Blood Kris, can absorb projectile magics, much like Link's mirror shield. Mator can send the magic back in a wave of fire, the strength of which is determined by the amount of magic it absorbed.
History: The Blood Kris is a legendary weapon of the Takari clan, used by the first son of Razora.

~Claws of Genis~
Description: On his left hand he has a blood red-clawed glove that is made of tightly bound black leather with metal rods and ball joints hooked up to it. The metal rods are bordered on the top and . On the top it has 3/8 inch alloy steel plating. It contains a crystal with Din's symbol in it. At the joints of the glove, metal spikes have been fused with his actual joints, making the glove part of him.
Weapon Enhancements: None, but they do hold a dark power.
History: Mator was born with a mangled left hand. His father, seeing this as a sign, performed a very ancient ritual instead of doing what would have normally been done: cutting off the child's hand. He fused a special glove that was worn by the first son of Razora to his hand. It was later revealed that the gem on it held in the dark demon Genis, who Mator defeated.

Special Abilities

Genis Eye: Mator's eyes, after having defeated Genis, have gained this mysterious ability. He can make his pupils become slits at will, which then increase his vision in the darkness and also give him a sort of "lens of truth" sight that reveals some secrets, though not all.
