It's only an ability. Even if he did copy you, it wasn't no Fan-fic, now was it. (Even that sounds too insignificant.) Sure it was similar, but it doesn't automatically mean that he (James) looked at your (Genzo) ability, then copy and pasted. He (James) was probably thinking of things ninjas could do and therefore, made the ability, but even if he (James) did "steal" it, remember that it's just an ability. You (Genzo) had no patent for it anyways and besides, you get no reward for making the ability beyond learning it anyways. So in otherwords, about that thing, I prefer that you both either drop it or take it to G-mail or PMs, but personally, I think a supposed stolen ability is a stupid thing to fight over. As for what should be done (if anything), I'm not so keen on member issues and all, so I'll let someone else handle that, though, I think the worse case should be a warning or strike towards possibly being demoted. A ban sounds way too strict and should only be used for much more extreme incidents imo.

BOTH of you are idiots for not bringing this to an admin sooner and instead argued with each other. Next time keep a level head.

By the way, if you haven't learned about it yet, there exists a crime called plagiarism. Plagiarism - 1. the unautorized use of the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one's own. (from Random House Webster's College Dictionary) Usually in at least the senior year of high school one learns about plagiarism. If you take note, plagiarism doesn't necessarily mean to copy-paste, but also can apply to a general idea. Perhaps is "James" had asked me if I could make a similar skill for Garos or asked me first if he could make his own version, I wouldn't feel criminally violated. In the words of my teacher, Dr. Suski, "plagiarism is worse than theft or even murder" is along the lines of what he taught. I think Thief should apologize if he wants his name back.

That being said... NEVER delete peoples posts unless it is rudely offensive (having your feelings slightly hurt because somebody (supposedly) 'stole' your idea doesn't count). If there's something wrong with it, do like Azul said and bring it up in the staff section.
