Today's Learning..; Fire Alchemy and two garo skills..

After closing the door, the old man took a bottle with magical-looking fluid inside it. The fluid seemed to glow with a magical-looking red-orange glow. The old man then took out a book, skimmed through it, and then took out a needle-like object. The old man then informed the now nervous SilverJ, "This will be a very painful process indeed." At that moment, SilverJ felt like bolting out of the hut, but before he did, the old man spoke up again, "For you to wield power that could potentially save you one day, I feel that you should stay. You may never know when this alchemy might save your life." "Is extending my life worth a lot of excruitating pain? As if.. I'm outta here.." nervouslysaid SilverJ, as he made his way for the door. "Ahh, but you may very well love your new found power and besides, some marvelous things come from pain. No pain, no gain, as one might say," the old man said, trying to coax SilverJ back over. SilverJ was just about leave when he heard those words, and just had to sit down, "All.. Alright, but make this quick.." The old man's face turned a bit deighted, as he joked, "Quick? That I can't do, but you'll make great use of this power.. Besides, if I did it "quick," I might accidently kill you or seriously wound you.. Now, place one of your hands outward please.." SilverJ's eyes twitched and he gritted his teeth, as he placed his hand out and suddenly, it felt like his hand was on fire and the source of it was a needle-like object. He felt the pain surge through his arm, then his body. SilverJ began to feel that he wouldn't live to see the results, as his body writhed in agony, but yet, he kept his palm extended, as the stiching of the fluid-like substance continued. Seeing the source of his pain, SilverJ saw as the fluid dried and seemed to become embeded within his very skin. After what felt like an enternity, but in all reality, was only a few more minutes, the process strangely ended. The old man put away his objects, then looked at SilverJ and said, [colr=orange]"You are now able to control fire, but.. however.. You can only keep fire in the state you make it in for a limited amount of time. Use it wisely.. You also can't control fire created by enemies, as they're hatred of you prevents it. Now, must I show you a few basic techinues?"[/color] SilverJ nodded and they went outside to learn a few basic alchemy tricks. After several minutes, SilverJ started to get the hang of it and moved on. Though his alchemy was far from mastered, SilverJ knew a few tricks. After finishing up his basic fire alchemy lessons, SilverJ was lead to a gao dojo, where after paying the dojo ten rupees, along with five to the old man, SilverJ started to learn "Water-Walking." The test subject was easy enough. It a small pond of water, no more than two feet deep. However, being tensed from the rune embedment, SilverJ was more tensed than focused. Countless times, he faltered and most of time, fell face first into the water, but SilverJ couldn't allow himself to quit and after many times and rest periods, (since he just got a rune embeded) SilverJ finally did it. However, as he went to celebrate, he fell into the water and after a few more tries, the dojo decided that he was ready to recieve the scroll. Next up was Puppet Clone. A far more advanced ability in it's on right, SilverJ had some difficulty learning the hand gestures and movements needed to accomplish the ability. Even the first few were difficult at first, but like the early ability, SilverJ perserveered and continued on until he got right and successfully made a puppet clone. However, as soon as SilverJ did it, the dojo passed his arm through the clone, destroying it and made SilverJ re-do it a few more times before giving him the scroll. After figuring out all of the abilties he could or wanted to learn, SilverJ left the school and headed outside to the Post Office. + Fire Alchemy + Water Walking + Puppet Clone - 15 rupees Abilities Already Known: Training Equipment Way of the Garo Diversion Spin Attack Abilties I don't care about, yet.. : Assassination + 1 Next Time: Dark Mist Tripwire

SilverJ's been split-class for awhile, but he just "discovered" his alchemeditic abilities after he received the Fire Enchantment reward after the mid-boss of Snowhead. Therefore, he will never go beyond rank 100 in Garo skills and will be delayed 5 ranks for alchemy skills. (He can only learn one more basic alchemy, I think.)
