Guidelines Entries can be either stories or poems, but there is a set guideline for what to write. Tale of a Hero Create a story or poem centered around a hero, it can be a fanfiction, original story, or even based on real life. Have it a tale of the classic dragon slaying, badass knight, or of an every day guy who happens to save a life. As always with me, language isn't an issue, just don't overuse it. Violence is alright, same as language. All entries are due April 27th, so get writing! Oh, prizes! About them... The highest rupee prize changes depending on how many people enter. Say there's only one entering (and obviously wins). That person gets only 50 rupees. For those non math types, it goes like this. Say X is the number of entrants, and Y is the highest amount of rupees one could get. 50X=Y Basically, for each person who enters, another 50 rupees gets tacked on, and every other person, in descending order, gets 50 less than the person above them. I hope this prevents a single person from entering and taking the entire prize, and has other people enter... after all, the more people who enter, the greater the prize. Also, no matter what, the person who gets last place always gets 50 rupees, so there's no downside to entering! So, get writing, and may the best writer win!

As of now, I only have three entries (won't say who), so if anyone wants a chance to get some money, here it is! Remember, the lowest possible amount to gain is 50 rupees! First place is decided, with the other two trying to get second, can't decide between the two. All are good, it's just hard to decide which gets what spot.

Had a hard time with three of the stories, couldn't decide which deserved which spot... but I finally did. Five people entered, meaning that first place gets 250, a nice amount of money to spend on whatever, don't you agree? Anyway, the results. Adad64 with his nameless poem Nolan, with his poem entitled 'What makes a hero?' AFN, with his nameless poem Zeldafreak008, with his nameless fanficion Sir Mudkipz, with his poem entitled 'The Sun's Warrior' As with last contest, each winner is to post their own entry. It's not like people are going to laugh at them, all of them were great (and I hate poems, that can tell you something ). Toriin woke up, the bright blue sky caused him to squint as he opened his eyes, another beautiful day in the Soul society. Maybe there won't be any Hollows causing trouble today, he thought, I just wanna relax and take the day off. As he slowly got up, he put on his robe, followed by his captain armband. Being captain of Squad 11 meant a lot of fighting. He had seen some pretty powerful Hollows, fought some rough battles, but after it all, he was glad to be in the position he was in. As the sun began to creep through some clouds, Captain Toriin started to get ready for the day. Placing his sheath at his side, he picked up his trusty zanpaktou, which he called Kamisoriha, or Razorleaf. After studying his sword, he placed it in it's sheath and stepped outside. As soon as he made his way to the outer steps he heard a scream, "HELLO, CAPTAIN TORIIN!!!" It was one of his squad members, Sakura. "Oh, hello Cherry," Toriin replied, "what's gotten you so happy this morning?" "Oh, I've told you countless times not to call me Cherry, Captain!" Sakura said, "oh well, I guess it is technically my name! Well, I'm so happy because I just found out th-" This girl never shuts up! Toriin said to himself, She rambles on about anything! "So then, when I ws younger, I had a puppy, so I guess that this kinda goes along wit that, I mean, getting to learn how to achieve my shikai is somewhat like that, don't cha think?" Sakura said. "Oh, yeah, sure," Toriin replied, not hearing half of what Sakura said, "listen, that was a fun chat and all, but I got to get going!" Toriin remembered he had been asked to come to the council for they had a favor to ask of him. * * * "So, what did you need me for?" Toriin asked. "We need you to destroy a Hollow for us." "Ahh," Toriin said, "seems simple enough I guess." "You would think so, but the problem is, his spiritual pressure mathes your own Lieutenant!" * * * "Dammit!" Toriin said, "Today was gonna be my day off!" Toriin was furious, working on such a beautiful day as this. Why couldn't they find someone else? Toriin thought, Oh well, if it does match my Lieutenant in spiritual pressure, it only makes since that I am the only one that can outmatch it. Toriin walked into the forest surrounding the Seireitei and almost immediately sensed the Hollow. "Damn, he is pretty strong, his spiritual pressure is making me lose my balance a little!" When Toriin finally found the Hollow, there was another Soul reaper laying by his feet. "Who is that?" Toriin asked as he approached. When he got close enough, he could tell who it was, Sakura. "SAKURA!" Toriin screamed. "I... thought... shikai... would be... enoug-" Sakura stopped talking, and Toriin ran up to her. "Sakura, speak to me!" Toriin tried, but it was hopeless, she was unconscious. "Damn you vile creature!" Toriin pulled out his zanpaktou and held it out ahead of him, "Wilter, KAMISORIHA!" Massive amounts of spiritual pressure was released from Toriin, just as his sword turned into a giant vine, "Tsuru Kusa Kamisoriha!" Toriin screamed, "MY BANKAI!" No one else had seen Toriin's bankai, and this Hollow was the only other living thing besides Captain Toriin that had, of course, hopefully soon it would be back to only one living thing
