Hylian Shield Official Forum and RP Rules As a member of Hylian Shield, you are expected to follow the following rules: 1. ~~No foul language at any time.~~ Foul language is to be kept at a minimum, but is allowed to a certain extent. 2. Respect ALL other members. 3. An Admin's word is final. 4. Stay on topic, if you have something to say that doesn't deal with the RP say it in the General Discussion area. 5. Respect any and all members. No matter their ranks, rupees, skill, position, etc., respect them all the same. 6. No spamming. 7. No flamming. 8. No advertising outside of the advertising forums. This includes Personal Messages. Please follow the rules there, you must have at least 25 posts to advertise. If you would like to affiliate, please follow the rules and create a thread with all the needed information. You must have at least 75 posts to affiliate. 9. No posting any pr0nographic pictures or hentai of any nature, if you do, you will be banned. 11. No posting pictures that could be offensive to other members. this includes, but is not limited to: racist pictures, anti-religion pictures, anti-god pictures, or anything of that nature. 12. Do not make threads saying that you are leaving HS, just for fun. If you post a fake leaving thread, you will be banned for one week. If you repeatedly break this rule, you may be permanently banned from HS. 13. Changes to rupees and ranks are to be kept track of in a topic inside the Rupees and Ranks forum. You are to create a topic for yourself after your character is accepted. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. It is a BANNABLE offense to sell or purchase rupees,ranks,or game items from ANY member of HS unless otherwise. BOTH parties will be punished. 2. You cannot be in more than one place at a time, it is not physically possible. If you are in one area, and go to another, you must post that you are leaving. For example, if you are fishing at Lake Hylia and you decide to go to Dampes Graveyard to dig for rupees, you must post in the "The Lake" forum saying that you are leaving and heading for Dampes Graveyard. 3. I want you guys to start Role Playing more. Instead of just saying "I went to go battle something" I want you to be more descripted, for example: "Gonthar walked through the cemetary gates. The atmosephere was thick and silent, almost tangible. Every step was loud, his footprints echoed around the grave stones. He had heard about this place, and about the people barried here, The Royal Familie's ancestors. Suddenly he stumbled upon a monster that attacked him, caught off gaurd, Gonthar unsheathed his sword and began to battle" then you can either roll the die, or Role Play the battle out, which brings us to the next point. 4. You can Role Play battles out with other members in the arena. When you Role Play the battles out it will go something like this: "Gonthar: Gonthar saw something in the shadows, a figure. Suddenly he saw it, or him. It was Faran." then Faran posts: "Faran jumped from the trees and attacked Gonthar, punching him in the stomach." than Gonthar posts: "'Oof!' said Gonthar, the attack had caught him off gaurd, knocking him back a little. Regaining balance he turned and punched Faran back" So on and so forth. Beware, NO god-modding is allowed, which brings us to the next rule. Please be as creative as you can, it will help your chances in winning the battle. 5. Please be fair, if you are going to Role Play your battles you have to get hurt. If you get cut in the arm or something than say so, dont be like "He didnt feel a thing and kept fighting" or "He bandaged it up and it instantly healed" if you get hurt you get hurt, there is no way around it. 6.
