Wow, that's some news!
sure is! Totally unexpected! I hope the great service stays the same! Excaliber always takes care of any problems fast and efficiently! Not that there are many;)

From what I heard, the same investment firm that owns bowtech has now bought Excalibur.
We shall see where this leads.
I'm set for bows so I can wait to see how things shake out.

Just glad I have my "made in Canada by Canadians, owned by Canadians" crossbow from 2003. I guess Excalibur's original sales pitch "not big business cashing in on crossbows"(or something like that) is no longer valid. I've thought about getting a couple Excals for the kids, for when they get older...I think I will look into what is on the shelf, or used.

The trend with Excalibur has been to continually push the boundaries, increase speed and reduce size. That's fine, more so with the compact design, IMO. My lowly old Excal consistently gets pass-throughs on deer, often so quick the arrow appears to have shot under the deer. Just wondering how far does Excal have to go to "prove" themselves. They already did, years ago.
Bloodtrail Ale(tm); celebrate your harvest with a Bloodtrail Ale.
