My girlfriends father was up at his cottage and saw a sow with four cubs more than once. He expected to see another sow but never did. All four cubs would just go wherever she went. I thought triplets would be the most they could have. |

on my 23 year of guiding for bears i seen alot of sow with four cubs and a few with even 5 cubs |

i've been bear hunting for 20 years now, i have seen it once, not sure if they were all the same sows cubs or not, but in a week they were spotted several times. |

Sounds like the answer is yes then. Cool! He must be in the right area then because he bought it to hunt bears and moose. Ive only been keen on the latter and not since 99 before my dad died. |

4 is uncommon and 5 is very rare. I have seen multiple triplets but never 4 cubs. |
