Well I had originally made plans with a bear outfitter in Northern Ontario but I decided to cancel at the last minute... I know, not cool, but it's a long story. So I got on the phone with a good friend and set up plan B. We only had three days to spare though, so plan B was gonna be tough to pull a bear out of the woods when baits had been inactive for a few days. We decided we'd make the best of it and just have fun. Turned out one of the baits got hit on our second day and I sat there that evening... but nothing showed up. Temps were very cool and wind was swirling. I was pretty much on top of that bait, real close and personal. Anyway, with lots of driving down logging roads checking bait sites, hunting, my front tire on my Dodge CARAVAN, LOL, finally gave out on us - nice big gauge and we had to call it quits. The guy with the truck bailed out late in the game so this is all we had. We were off to town to get a new tire the next day and back home in the evening. Here's a few pics of our wheels, if my wife knew where its been...LOL, and some trail shots - I'm the one with the harness. So no bears, but a good time for sure.

To bad about the tire, but a least you did give it a try,l know how you feel, but that's hunting.
If it's got fur, feathers or scales it's in trouble
