Got up to a good friends for a 3 day bear hunt in Muskoka. The weather was awful the first night with pouring rain and heavy lightning. At one point I decided the lightning rod I was standing on was not a safe place to be, lowered my knapsack and gun and got half way down the ladder and noticed a bear coming into the bait at 30 yards. I raced back up the lightning rod , pulled up my gun and watched the small bear feed on the bait for about 5 min. After a super close lightning strike he bolted and got out of there fast. The storm cleared and a tiny little bear maybe 60 pounds came in and was also given a pass. At one point he climbed a tree 15 yards away and was perfectly level with me in the tree. Very cool and extremely wet sit. Next night I had a nicer sit passing on 3 different bears, nice bears just not the tank I was hoping for. The 3 rd and final day of the hunt I sat all day and no bears showed up. Had a great time and enjoyed every minute.

This bear fed on the bait for almost an hour.

To bad you didn't get what you were looking for but at least you had a good time.
If it's got fur, feathers or scales it's in trouble
