First of all I would like to congratulate everyone who was successful last week while I was away from the computer hunting in the blackpowder hunt.We have 10 guys in our group and we ended the week with 10 deer.Iwas fortunate enough to get 3 deer,a 6 pt on opening morning, then later in the week a button buck and then a big bodied 8 pt with a messed up rack. Here are a few pictures.Posted ImagePosted ImagePosted Image

My Dad bought me that gun used back in 1982 I believe and I have been using it every year since then. Its a Thompson Center 54 calibre,I shoot a 430 grain MAXI BALL with 110 grains of FFG powder, with no.11 percussion cap.Im still old school you can say but Ive killed alot of deer with that gun and have no intention of upgrading any time soon.
