Saturday morning my buddy (who has already tagged out) called in a nice tom for me within range. Unfortunately the bird approached from the only direction I couldn't see. I didn't get a visual on him until he bolted after he busted us. We hunted hard the remainder of the day to no avail. This morning I sat in the rain for six hours, and finally had a tom working his way toward me across the field. He was still out there 100+ yards when he suddenly dashed away. A minute later this guy came walking by.

That's what I call damage control. I am surprised that I haven't seen a single yote thus far. Perhaps I have you to thank?

Nice job on the Coyote.Ive seen lots of tracks on the property we hunt.I think thats why the birds are so wary this year.Best of luck getting that TOM.

Good job Coon! Getting rid of that yote will probably allow another dozen turkeys survive another year.=more toms to hunt.
