got this guy friday morn The hunt started out really exciting with a gobbler that sounded only to be fifty yards behind me but just gobbled for a straight half hour. I think he was on the other side of the creek and was a little reluctant to cross, but I had heard one other gobble far to the east. So after a couple hours of nothing and a behind that was getting rather sore I decided to stand up and stretch the legs, when I sat back down I decided to give another call on the slate and got a faint response from a hen so I let out one more with the box and she started going nuts off in the distance and then low and behold a gobble so I sat tight for about ten minutes when I saw her up on the ridge. She made a beeline for my decoy with a Jake and the Tom hot on her tail she and the Jake walked right by me at about ten feet. The Tom held up at the bottom for a bit when he snuck up on the other side of me and poked out from behind a tree I let him have it with the twelve gauge.
